Wonderful place for solo travelers. Neat and clean beds and rooms. It's near to railway station even one can go by walk. Wanted to say specially about the host name Garvit. He is so polite and helpful at every point. He guided so well about the itinerary with perfect timing to visit places. Must to visit and stay place for solo travelers.

I'm thrilled to have stayed at Backpack Stack Hostel, Ujjain's first hostel, for 6 incredible days! The experience was flawless, with zero issues during my stay. Huge credit to Mr. Garvit for maintaining the hostel to exceptional standards. His dedication is truly commendable! When it comes to food, don't bother searching Zomato - the hostel's in-house menu is a must-try! Delicious and convenient. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the warm hospitality. A big thank you to Mr. Garvit's family and Ram for making me feel like part of the family! I highly recommend Backpack Stack Hostel to anyone visiting Ujjain. Look no further - this is the perfect place to stay!

I spent three nights at Backpackstack and everything was excellent. I immediately got the rooms and the check out was also smooth. The rooms with the decent view and the breakfast were really good with tasteful food items. But the best part of my stay was hospitality. I met GARVIT who is owner of this property and Ram who is the care taker of this property here as a highly professional yet extremely helpful and both of took care of me from the moment i reached to the property. he made my experience extremely pleasurable not having to worry where to go. I would highly recommend the Backpackstack and would come back in a heartbeat 💓

I stayed at The Backpackstack Hostel in Ujjain from 25th to 28th November 2024, and the experience was truly memorable. Garvit's mom made it feel like home, asking daily how the day went and if everything was okay. Her Indori poha was a highlight, adding a homely touch. Ram’s guidance on routes and local travel made exploring seamless. The hostel itself was clean and comfortable, with a welcoming vibe and social common areas. Its location near major attractions made it an excellent choice for a budget-friendly yet heartfelt stay. Highly recommended for Solo travelers.👍👍👍👍👍

I had a wonderful stay! The host (Garvit) and his mother manage the property with great care, it really feels like a home away from home. The place was spotless, very hygienic, and felt completely safe—especially for solo female travellers. The host was incredibly helpful in guiding me through my trip, He gave me awesome recommendations for off-the-beaten-path places to explore and The home-cooked food was absolutely divine (must try their Hot Chocolate, Poha, Khichadi), truly a highlight of the stay. I would highly recommend staying here for a warm, welcoming, and secure experience with great local tips and amazing meals!✨

I had a wonderful time staying at "The Backpackstack". The atmosphere was incredibly friendly and homely. The hosts were super helpful and always ready with great recommendations for things to do in the great city of Ujjain. The hostel was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was definitely the food! The meals served at the hostel were absolutely delicious and a great value, with a variety of tasty options. The location was ideal, with easy & convenient access to Mahakkal Corridor & other must visit places. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a great place to stay with fantastic food and a warm, welcoming vibe!

I recently stayed 2 nights at The Backpackstack in the private, queen room. It was an excellent choice! Garvit and his mother run a friendly, clean, great value option for travellers to Ujjain. My room was very comfortable, had a great terrace for relaxing and listening to/watching temple activities across the street, and was fitted with very nice toiletries. Not only are Garvit and his mother lovely, helpful people, but they also make excellent coffee! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Backpackstack to others or to stay here again if I return to Ujjain.
