Chalo Eco Hostel

This was not a nice experience to stay, after a messy ride with the tuktuk (provided by them, tuk tuk broke down), we entered a dirty room, the cheets had spots and lots of hairs. There was a dirty towel and in the trashbin was a dirty shirt still from Holi. I asked to come and change the cheets, but there was nobody to help. Also getting drinking water was not possible. The next day we were supposed to get breakfast, than they told us we could get it at 11:00. So at 11:15 I went to ask what about breakfast; and he told me it would take 30min more. After this we just left. Now they cancelled the reservation on booking.com, so I can not put this bad review there.

Chalo hostel was just finishing renovations while we stayed, but regardless of this, the place was great, and I can see after such renovations the place will look fantastic and modern. The staff though we're absolutely brilliant, extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating as possible

Excellent hostel run by a lovely, welcoming family. Rooms are clean, hot water in the showers and you can get cheap home-cooked food if you like. Also a nice rooftop area to chill out. Location can be a bit hard for tuk tuks to find, but definitely worth it for the welcoming vibe. A home away from home, 100% recommend

A wonderful place to stay. The family who own the hostel are very kind and helpful. It's quiet, well-maintained and clean, with comfy beds and great common areas. Good location also. So much to like. Highly recommended.

Very good hostel to stay for a few days in jaipur. The neighbourhood and people who run the place are very accomodating and helpful with almost anything you may ask. The price was really cheap for the mixed rooms, beware of the hard beds though. better and a bit more pricier are the private double rooms, breakfast is actually included in the price and tastes great. on the topic of food: they have a veg and non veg meals that change with everyday, the price is more than reasonable and the taste is really great, what you are getting is basically a homecooked meal and definitely the best around here. The hostel even features a rooftop where you can sit and eat as well. Other good small things include: fast wifi, warm water and western toilets. We had a very comfortable stay in one of the double rooms

Lovely and cheap place, if you think to go to Jaipur. So friendly people who care about you, and you feel safe, like in family! I came so early in the morning and they pick up me and we had early chai and breakfast! |Recommend place also for solo travels. And wish for the hostel to develop, host more and nice people from all around the world!

We’ve stayed 5 days with Nadeem and his family at Chalo Eco hostel. If that would have been the only thing we did in India it would already have made our India trip a success. Nadeem is such a gracious host and his family are such warm welcoming people that staying at their hostel is a ‘must do’ when visiting Jaipur. You will see so much more of every day life than when you stay in a hotel not really connecting with locals. We’ve made friends for life and I’m sure we’ll be back.
