Mustache Jaisalmer — more than just a place to stay. Some places give you a room, a bed, and a good view. Mustache Jaisalmer gives you something much more meaningful — a feeling of home. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere feels warm, peaceful, and personal. The staff are genuinely kind and welcoming, and what I loved most was how they actually take the time to talk to you. Even the owner doesn’t feel like someone running a property — he’ll sit with you, have a conversation, listen to your stories, and talk about life, travel, dreams, and all those deeper things you normally don’t expect to discuss at a hostel. That’s what makes this place special. You don’t just check in here… you become a part of the place for a little while. And if you’re in Jaisalmer, their desert safari is an absolute must. The experience felt authentic, peaceful, and beautifully organised — especially if you want to experience the desert beyond the usual tourist rush. One of the best desert experiences I’ve had. I came here looking for a place to stay, but I left with memories, conversations, and a feeling that I had found a little home in Jaisalmer. Mustache Jaisalmer isn’t just a stay. It’s the kind of place you remember long after you leave. ❤️

Moustache, in Jaisalmer, is a charming hotel located a fifteen-minute walk from Jaisalmer Fort. I visited this establishment in October 2024. It's a great choice, as the hotel offers everything you need at a very affordable price, especially for backpackers. In the evening, you can enjoy the view from the rooftop while having dinner. Moustache also offers desert safaris, with a night spent camping under the stars. It's absolutely perfect, as there's nothing to organize yourself: Moustache takes care of everything. The safari was excellent, and I'll keep a very fond memory of this place.

I had a very disappointing and concerning experience at Moustache Jaisalemer. The management is extremely poor, and there was a major security lapse during my stay — something that makes this place especially unsafe for female travellers. Even after booking private room, the security is zero and staff is non trustable and we ended up changing the hotel for the night. They have windows which opens on stairs and anyone can peep in easily.||Our check-in time was 11:30 AM, yet we were made to wait over 30 minutes and only got the room at 12:30 PM. When we raised a genuine complaint about staff misbehaviour, the owner, Abhishek, was rude and defensive instead of taking responsibility.||This property seriously lacks professionalism, safety, and hospitality. I strongly advise anyone — particularly solo or female travellers — to avoid this hotel for their own safety and peace of mind.

I had a really wonderful stay in Jaisalmer Moustache! Thanks for the hotel manager and Staff for their kindness and helpfulness! Also I met Mr.Praddip, He is a amazing man i met in my life. Thank you so much Moustache Jaisalmer And Mr.Praddip! My journey is complete.✨

We checked out early from this hostel due to the condition of the room. We booked a superior double room. It was in the courtyard of the hostel near the reception so it was very noisy from the hostel staff and people in the courtyard talking loudly or watching things on their phones (noise until around midnight and then again 7/8am). It wasn’t very relaxing- I could still hear the noise through earplugs. The room had no windows except in the bathroom so it felt very dark. The bedsheets were very old and worn so didn’t feel clean. The pillow cases didn’t fully cover the pillows so you had yellowed old pillows on show. The lamp had been broken at some point and not fixed. The bathroom smelt like drains (which we’ve seen in other reviews too) and the shower head looked unclean. The smell and the lighting made us feel uncomfortable and unclean. It really wasn’t good value for money so we left and got something much better for not much more. The manager did offer for us to switch rooms and did arrange a transfer to our new hotel which was appreciated. It is in a convenient location with a fort view which is was led us to book it originally.
