Let’s start with the location—it was very good. You can walk to the fort in just 5-7 minutes. Nearby, you’ll find my favorite veg fast food place, Freddy Foods, as well as other restaurants, shops, bike rentals, etc. The hostel is a small, colorful building with a cute terrace. The staff are very polite, and the manager is extremely helpful. They offered us a tour of the Thar Desert, which was an amazing experience. First, we drove in a jeep, then rode camels. After that, we had some snacks and tea while watching an unforgettable sunset. 🥰 We enjoyed dinner, cooked during the safari, and I even tried making chapati! 🥰 We slept under the open sky.

I had an amazing stay at the Blue Eye Hostel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like family. They were always friendly, full of energy, and ready to help with anything I needed. One of the highlights of my trip was the excursion to the desert, which they organized perfectly. It was a breathtaking experience, and having knowledgeable and fun guides made it even more memorable. The hostel itself is clean, cozy, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The owner is a genuinely humble and kind person, always around to chat or lend a helping hand. His passion for creating a comfortable and enjoyable space is clear in every detail of the hostel. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’m already looking forward to coming back to Blue Eye Hostel! Great hostel in a perfect location, close to the train station, lake, and fort. Clean and spacious private rooms, plus a rooftop with a lovely view. Amenities include a shared kitchen, laundry, and WiFi. The daily camel safari is a highlight - amazing staff, small groups, and an unforgettable desert experience. Highly recommend!

Loved our stay! Would highly recommend - baba is such a lovely host and we had so much fun! We slept under a blood moon in the desert and it was magical ! Definitely book a stay with blue eye hostel we were really well looked after

Lovely hotel, chilled vibe, nice people and stuff. The owner is super! Got beautiful Henna from his wife and he offers safari. :) Definitely recommend!

I had an amazing experience in Blue Eye Hostel and in Camel Safari. It is one of the best hostel I have ever been. The Blue Eye Hostel has a great location very near Jaisalmer Fort, Gadisar Lake and the train station. It's very beautiful hostel, room was very comfortable, clean and had a private bathroom. The building has rooftop with beautiful view of Jaisalmer Fort and of the city. Owner is very much caring and welcoming, warm-hearted and treat you like a part of family. He made me feel as I was at my own home. I also took the non-touristic tour for Camel Safari that is organized by hostel and it was a wonderful experience. Our guide was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and made sure we have a safe trip on camels through the Thar Desert. Everything was very well-organised and nights on the Thar Dessert were unforgettable for me. I loved it and enjoyed a lot. I really appreciate everything and highly recommend it.

Close to the Jaisalmer Fort The owner is a very relaxed and gentle guy who’ll make you feel like at home. The property is well decorated and clean Bonus point for the rooftop who’s a chill area.

Nestled within the historic Jaisalmer Fort, this hostel offers a unique blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. The panoramic views of the city from the rooftop are simply breathtaking, especially at sunset. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The dorms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds. The common areas were perfect for meeting fellow travelers and sharing stories. The overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
