Great hostel! The hosts are absolutely welcoming and help you with everything. The Hostels interior design is made with a lot of taste and every thing is kept clean. On top of that the hostel has a really comfortable and cozy atmosphere. 10/10 Just can recommend it.

I happen to stay in this beautiful cafe in jaisalmer. I had a really wonderful and joyous experience in the stays as well as the food. The whole interiors and decorations really sets a peaceful calm atmosphere for the stays. Their best service is the desert safari. They provide the best non-commercial desert safari in Jaisalmer.

Vivian and Aparna were exceptional hosts, creating a warm and homely atmosphere that made the stay truly special. The desert safari was the highlight of the trip—a magical and must-do experience if you’re visiting Rajasthan. Its raw, authentic charm is beyond what words or photos can convey. From stargazing under a breathtakingly starry sky to immersing yourself in the peaceful desert vibes, it’s an adventure you’ll never forget. The hostel’s prime location near Jaisalmer Fort makes it easy to explore most major attractions on foot. Alongside the convenience, the food and ambience were also fantastic, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. What stood out the most was the kindness and hospitality of everyone, both at the hostel and during the desert safari. Their warmth made the experience even more memorable. If you’re planning a trip to Jaisalmer, this is an absolute must-try!

I highly recommend staying here! The hosts and staff are extremely accommodating and helpful. Hostel is a short walk to the fort and other points of interest. Easier to access than staying inside the fort. I ate every meal at their restaurant - everything was delicious and well priced. The rooms are comfortable with good bathrooms. I booked a camel safari through the hostel which was well organised and a great experience. Do yourself a favour and book your stay in Jaisalmer at Open Road Hostel!

I recently stayed at this space, and it exceeded my expectations! The stunning architecture and serene ambiance were perfectly complemented by warm lighting. The staff and owner's genuine hospitality made me feel at home. With impeccable service and beautiful surroundings, this hidden gem is a must-visit.

One of the best experiences, the vibe and food were amazing. The rooms are nice & clean with all amenities and yes the hosts are very nice and were very supportive throughout the stay. Do check out the desert safari offered by them, an amazing experience overall.

Me being a lazy solo traveller by nature, writing a review means a lot to me. |Open Road stay has its reason for it. The property has a very interesting architecture, a raw and beautiful way of air circulation outlets , golden walls and stairs and some amazing pics clicked by Vivian as well :) And the best part is the open and common space in the third and fourth floors ! I literally lived there. Best fresh food served on table with view, books, Maya ( a fluff ! ) and some breeze ! My days were made. From a 2 day stay to a 3 week stay speaks for it .The smiling faces which served me were also adding to comfort in stay.|Jaisalmer is such a small and a pretty city with all good things in walkable distance ( I hate spending on small transits , such a blessing for me! ) During travel, we tend to just stay away from home/known things , but here I got the best essence of a fresh new home with unknown things around you . Lots of new stories, learnings, silence and some good recipes from chef as well ! I cannot ask more from my Jaisalmer stay. Thank you so much to Vivian and co. Highly recommended !
