The stay at Hosteller Jaisalmer was very good. The dorms were clean. Mr Suraj and Driver Uncle Sharvanji were good in taking care and of us. Really they gave us the homely vibe. Thank you for the help and making trip wonderful.

I had a wonderful stay at The Hosteller Jaisalmer! The property is well-maintained, and the amenities provided were good, making my experience clean and comfortable (as clean as possible in a place where you have hard water). The property could do with a little more maintenance work but over all gives a feel of staying in a contemporary haveli. The location was very convenient for our itinerary. The hospitality and service provided by the staff were exceptional. Sharwan Kumar and his staff, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. His warm demeanour and attention to detail truly made our experience memorable. He and his companions also arranged for us to have authentic Rajasthani home cooked simple meal that was delicious, and compared to all the food places we tried there this was like a considerable step up! The entire team was courteous, attentive, and dedicated to creating a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended! There are many professional places to stay but they lack a personal touch that this hosteller aced! What they lack a little in maintenance of the property but they make up in hospitality and giving a truly Rajasthani warmth and welcome. From all the other experiences we had in Jaisalmer, we were disappointed and dejected but Sharwan Kumar and team changed it completely over the course of our stay for the better, some of the few genuine people left in Jaisalmer’s tourism industry. Note :- If you want to do Desert Camp, I advise you consult with them .

So we booked our stay in the hosteller with very high expectations reading the reviews and seeing the pictures. We had booked 2 private rooms. The room had such a massive stink that it was impossible to stay there. The room overlooked a pile of construction debris. The bedsheets and pillow covers were stained with pee like stains. The room had a damp wall which gave it such a bad stench. On asking for refund through agoda they refused saying that this is the best they can do. They really need to pull up their pants. I also can see hosteller refuting all negative reviews by saying they have not stayed with them. That is why I am attaching pictures. Most of the 5 star reviews must be fake. They spoiled our trip.

Visited on Nov'23. Average hospitality. Food is not great. Rooms are good. Have to call the reception to turn on the geyser. Beautifully decorated.

Everything here feels like a 2 star experience. it is in an alley full of hotels. The hostel is of 3 -4 floors no lift is available. The rooms have beds of medium size and the washrooms are not maintained at all it gives a very dingy feeling. The whole place looks not maintained. Not worth staying. Extremely disappointing. The pictures on the web look promising but that is not their reality. Electricity was also an issue here.

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel! They offer both dormitory and private rooms, and both are fantastic in terms of comfort and cleanliness. The highlight of my stay was the rooftop bonfire, which created such a cozy and fun atmosphere. The manager, Shrawan Kumar, and the entire staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Shrawan, in particular, went above and beyond to assist with any queries or requests. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I highly recommend this hostel for anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay!

Guests praised the hotel's luxurious accommodations, exceptional service, and prime location . The staff was great. The receptionists were very helpful and answered all our questions . They have also provided nice breakfast and dinner as per our demand. Every time either morning, afternoon, evening they gave us Tea ( free). The car driver (shravan uncle) such a nice person He never told us for haste.. very kindly and respectful person . The desert camp 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 … wow amazing They had their personal sand dunes … service were best & rooms clean with all toiletries provided . At desert … sunset and sunrise was go crazy 🫡 .. camel ride and jeep safari were also excellent At the end hostellers gave us wonderful memories and experience 🤝🏻😃😃 Thank you so much.

Really Disappointing Experience at Hosteller Jaisalmer Our stay at Hosteller Jaisalmer was a complete letdown. The place was dirty, the bathrooms were leaking, and there was no hot water, which made things really uncomfortable. It felt like basic maintenance wasn’t even a priority here. What made it worse was the rude behavior of the staff. We asked for directions to a non-veg restaurant, and instead of helping us, they were dismissive and unprofessional. It was honestly so frustrating. I can’t believe Hosteller gave a franchise to this property. It’s nowhere close to the standards you’d expect from their brand. They really need to look into this and make some serious changes. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless they clean up their act—literally and figuratively.
