Terrible Experience – Strongly Advise Against Staying Here Our stay at this hostel was extremely disappointing due to the unacceptable behavior of the staff. They were rude, unprofessional, and made us feel unwelcome throughout our visit. It felt like we were being constantly watched and judged for simply minding our own business. One disturbing incident took place on the rooftop. While we were calmly sitting and chatting, one of our friends stepped slightly closer to another group while taking a personal call. Out of nowhere, a staff member stormed in and started shouting at us aggressively, without any justification or warning. We were shocked and embarrassed. To make matters worse, the staff didn’t hesitate to call in local individuals to confront us, which felt like a clear attempt to scare and pressure us. Although we had booked for two nights, we felt so uncomfortable that we checked out after just one. This place is not worth your time or money. Look for better, safer options elsewhere.

I had an amazing experience staying at Musafir Hostel, udaipur! This was my first time traveling solo and staying in a hostel, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I met so many wonderful people from around the world. It was a joy to have great conversations and make new friends. The location is perfect—so close to all the main attractions, making it easy to explore. The view from the hostel was absolutely stunning, adding to the overall charm of the stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience. If you're looking for a place with great vibes, a social atmosphere, and a fantastic location, I highly recommend staying here. Can’t wait to come back!

Outside food is not allowed in the entire hostel. The cafe area is also very expensive. You will have to buy food from here only. You cannot bring drinks from outside, you have to buy them from here only. Rest of my experience was good. View is good. And it is cheap.

I had a really pleasant stay at Musafir Hostels Udaipur. It's located near all the main attractions of Udaipur, like the City Palace ,Lake Pichola, Gangaur Ghat , Bagore Ki Haveli and Hathipole which made exploring the city super convenient. One of the highlights was definitely the rooftop—offering a beautiful view of the city, especially around sunset. I also really enjoyed the lemon soda they served up there The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall vibe was chill and friendly. Anuj Sir -property operations manager n the entire staff were helpful and always ready with tips on what to see and do. If you’re visiting Udaipur and want a budget-friendly place with a great location and rooftop view, I’d definitely recommend this hostel.

Very Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended The staff behavior at this hostel is absolutely unacceptable. They treat guests with no respect and make you feel like you're in the wrong for simply existing. One shocking incident happened when we were sitting peacefully on the rooftop. A friend received a call from his family and moved slightly near a group of girls to talk—suddenly, a staff member came and started yelling at us without any explanation or warning. We were completely confused and felt humiliated. In another instance, the staff even involved local people to dominate and intimidate guests. We had booked a 2-day stay but were so uncomfortable that we left after the first night. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place entirely.

Had very great time in musafir...with great host Akash and anuj bhaiya!! Delicious food, scenic view and lots of fun we had. Whenever I'll visit udaipur again I would love to stay here only!! Fabulous experience. 😇
