My stay in Agra was just beyond great. And certainly mostly thanks to "Big Brother Hostel", which is without a doubt the perfect budget accommodation you could wish for in Agra.||Thanks to its perfect location, the mighty Taj Mahal can be visited in the early morning, escaping the busy crowds of the afternoon (it is literally a 10 – 15 minutes walk from the Taj Mahal).||If you have doubts booking yourself into Big Brother Hostel then doubt no more.||The rooms are nice and cozy and thanks to "Aunty" always clean. The mattresses and pillows are super comfy, guaranteeing a good night's sleep.||The hostel comes with a rooftop where you can relax, chat with other travelers or just sit in silence. ||My favorite part about the hostel was without a doubt the amazing staff that works there.||Paras, Deepak, Raj and Aunty are the sweetest people. Not only will they help you with no matter what but they make sure that you feel 100 % comfortable.||Hanging out with them felt more like hanging out with friends from back home.||And most importantly: Take their offer and instead of eating out enjoy a delicious dinner at the hostel. It costs only 150 rupees, is freshly cooked every evening and so incredibly delicious that I always had to eat more than I should have.||All in all a great stay. Thank you so much for everything. We arrived after 8 pm and still got a room with one other guy for a very good prize. (Below 200 RP) The rooms and the hostel itself is filled with creative travelers and their leftovers. Everyone is allowed to write on the walls and do what they want to do. On first sight that may seem horrible but it turns out a lot of creative friendly people come here to enjoy traveling and life. We also got a free chai without asking anyone. As I said: Very nice people here. Wifi also works well which is a rare thing for low budget hostels. Definitely recommend the place for Agra!

The place itself is OK - basic but clean. Conveniently located near the Taj Mahal and the staff are very helpful. We booked a private double room with its own lock on the door but looking at the dorm there was no evidence of lockers or security and the front door remained unlocked most of the day. We had an awful night sleep as the manager and a guest were talking outside our room until 2am. A dog began barking outside the (glassless) window at 5am. If you value a little sleep I'd avoid.

Hostel and atmosphere is nice and it's cheap. I liked staff as well very helpful and friendly specially paras. And their beds are comfortable and they have hot shower as well which was very good. They also have different things written by people who previously stayed at hostel which is very fun to read like a piece of story left behind and it was good dinner buffet at roof top every night and good breakfast and tea! And it's so close to taj mahal eastern gate yet it's quiet I'd definitely recommend staying at this hostel.

Altho the hostel is a bit rundown, yes a bit dirty too, yes it is basic but for the money we paid for, we had what we needed for a night. We had unlimited thali for dinner, for free and it also tasted really good (thanks Aunty!). The location is super close to the Taj, stayed one night here just to see the Taj on sunrise. Awesome staff, thank you for all the info, even gave us tips for our next destination! I see a lot of people complaining here but come on, for 200rupees with free dinner?! What would you expect?? :)))

The most valuable hostel in Agra. The location is super, very near the Taj Mahal. You can visit the attraction in early morning. The staffs are supportive, helpful and friendly. Chill atmosphere that guarantee a good laugh among friends. Rooms are cozy, though the restrooms are under further improvement to be as clean as possible.|

This hostel is very good for budget travellers, the room price is very reasonable, the location is quite close to Taj Mahal. Mr. Paras is a very nice owner and he is extremely helpful, he treats guests very intimate! Mr. Paras has a special policy for guests, if they take a night train to leave Agra. I have traveled for decades and have never seen it very much appreciated! Hope you also enjoy in the hostel!

The best hostel at very affordable prices. We stayed here for 2 days at 89Rs/day per person. I've been travelling north the last week and this is the only place where they provided room heater.. The name perfectly fits. You feel like home here.. and the food.. being a South Indian, my disappointed taste buds have been craving for tasty food the whole week travel in north(no offense). The food they provide in freedom hostel is tasty af. Obviously the food is not included in the rent but is affordable. Overall, the best hostel.
