Gypsy Nest

We were staying at the Gypsy Nest for three nights, and they were not only comfortable due to great service, nice rooms and well organized staff - they also helped us getting used to India (we were Germans visiting the first time). We had a great time with the host, Rocky, who helped us out a lot and answered the many questions we had. Thank you very much for everything, Rocky! I can warmly recommend your hostel to any backpacker!:)

I checked in at mid night. I was surprise to see thier warmness in night too. My stay was for only 3 hours so I choose to select thier Dormatory accomation. It was very clean. This hotel is situated at a distance of 100 meter from Fatehabad Road which you can say tourist lane of Agra also. Must recommended place for future stay either business trip or you are coming yo visit Taj....

Had an awesome stay at this hostel in Agra! The place was clean, cozy, and right in the heart of the city. The staff were always ready to offer tips and recommendations for exploring the city. The common room with the projector was a fantastic addition! It provided a great space to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. Overall, I highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Agra.

The staff “Rocky” is truly helpful, he was patient friendly and gave us resourceful information, and help us when we were in need, he has great sense of humor, and love to share, for those who some to Agra with not enough knowledge about this city, I strongly suggest you to stay in this place, you can be sure that you will be taken care of, also Rocky is a foodie, he can suggest you with great dining locations. Amazing stay! The Staff (Ajay and the volunteer Sai) were extremely nice and helpful and were there where we needed anything. They even landed us their own water boiler so that we can coffee in the morning before leaving fot the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal parking is around 10min by walk. The place is nice and safe, we could not wish for more! The rooms were also very clean and nice. I definitely recommend the stay at Gypsy nest.

To start with Price not clear at all they said something different to you when you call them and in Hostelworld different price too They show you beautiful rooms for private but in reality really basic and mid room but of course with the price of a deluxe one ( typical scammer move) When you enter the room it smells like an ashtray broken lines and salty water in the shower never happened before to me and of course it was broken the shower so we had to call them twice for make it work The cleaner the don't knock at the door they just enter in your private room really not safe and professional I not recommend to come here DON'T COME HERE MANY BETTER PLACE IN AGRA

We checked-in at this property on 4th January 2024, around 6am because they had vacancy and checked out at 8am on 6th January 2024, usually check-in time is 12pm and check-out time is 11am, but they weren't fully occupied so they accommodated us. Also, we booked private bedroom via make my trip for Rs.1,533 including tax, for myself and my boyfriend, our room had a nice balcony. We were charged Rs.500 for early check-in. The services and amenities were below average. The Charging points inside the room were broken. The bed was on a dirty wooden platform. We didn't get any hot water for bathing, it seemed their geyser doesn't work. Just the location is nice. Otherwise there's nothing that good about this property. Also, their common kitchen and washroom is extremely unhygienic and dirty, it seemed like they never clean anything. I won't say highly disappointed, but not even worth staying. And there's barely place to park two wheeler. Also, the photos available on the internet doesn't match with reality. Taj Mahal is 10-20mins Auto ride distance from this property.
