I booked this place for one day and thought I’d extend my stay based on my experience. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. While I read some good reviews on Google and assumed it would be a great spot, I found it lacking. It feels like an average school hostel, and the positive reviews seem overhyped. Overall, it’s not worth the price, except for the location. If you’re willing to spend a little more, there are better hotels nearby. I tried the food for dinner, and it was below average for a high price. The only real advantage was that the front desk staff spoke fluent English.

The rooms are clean but the ACs are not functional at all hours which is weird. I have put the pic of the operation hours of AC. In my room, even after complaining about the AC not cooling at all, no one cared about fixing it. The cafeteria or the common room is the happening part here. The food is good and worth the price, best among all hostels over here in Varanasi. Assi Ghat is at a walkable distance and the hostel Location is suitable for any cab/auto to reach.

Housekeeping was thorough and respectful, always ensuring my room was spotless and comfortable. A special shoutout to Bheem for their outstanding service; their kindness and professionalism truly made my experience memorable. Overall, the staff at Moustache made me feel like a valued guest, and I look forward to returning in the future!

Staying at Moustache Hostel Varanasi was an absolute delight and a memorable highlight of my trip to India. From the moment I arrived, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The hostel is perfectly located, close to the ghats and other iconic sights, yet tucked away enough to offer a peaceful escape from the bustling streets of Varanasi.

I was hosted in this amazing hostel. Great vibe and very welcoming, specially by this two young guys, Bheem and Sunil. They immediately make you feel comfortable! Always ready to help you in any situation with a smile on their face! Oh and the rooftop is so nice! Definitely recommend this hostel in Varanasi!

I spent 4 lovely days in this hostel and I met nice and warmy people. The rooftop is something special bacause you can have good food and beers with a cozy atmosphere. The guys at the hostel are very kind and welcoming. I really recommend this place in Varanasi.

Stayed at Moustache Hostel for 2-3 days, and it was amazing! Super clean, great vibe, and the staff was incredibly helpful. Assi Ghat is just a short walk away, making it the perfect location. Highly recommended!
