Dormtales is a sweet little haven tucked in a peaceful neighbourhood which isn’t far from all the places one would love to visit in Varanasi. I could stay there only for a day, but I loved the homely vibes and the comfort of the space. After a busy day by the ghats the hostel provides a necessary winding down ambience. And the host Muskan is really sweet and helps you with anything you want around exploring the city. Definitely would stay here the next time I am around too!!!

I’ve stay there around 2 weeks here and had amazing time. Place feels very homely and more calm peaceful then other hostels! Also the quality of maintenance it’s much better than other hostels, it’s clean tidy and feels well looked after (which isn’t the case of most hostels in India). During my longer stay here I got to know owner and the staff which became a friends to me. Muskan a young woman is doing incredible work of running it but unfortunately I was able to experience that there are some guys that came as guests from India that are not able to accept seeing a young independent woman doing so well and get jealous and disrespectful and will leave fake reviews to feel better about themselves so please keep that in mind if you will see some bad reviews. My stay here was amazing and looking forward to come here again next time and can definitely recommend to anyone that is mature and respectful and mindful about staying in hostels/common areas, especially I think foreigners will appreciate the quality of service over here!

As a solo traveler, I was initially concerned about safety, but Dormtales eased my worries. Located in the heart of the city in a safe, pleasant neighbourhood, it made exploring the attractions easy. The property is clean and cozy. I loved hanging out in the lively common area and beautiful patio. The host and her mom were warm and helpful with my itinerary and local recommendations. Overall, I had a fantastic and comfortable stay at Dormtales!

For people opting to stay at a hostel/dorm for the first time please don’t hesitate. I can assure you of the impressive home-stay , providing you clean rooms , clean bedsheets and hygienic washrooms. The host and her family are probably the most humble and nicest of people. The stay is extremely budget friendly. Really suitable for students , women and tourists looking for a peaceful and secure neighborhood. The “common room” is a vibrant place encouraging fun interactions between dorm-mates which is a wholesome scene. There’s a private kitchen and board/card games for recreation. Come now come all , Dormtales is the best one can get. ✅

The place is amazing. Muskan is a great host. The rooms were very much clean and well arranged. The customer service was top notch . The food made by her mom is to live for . The location is also very decent residential area. It is a peaceful stay. The common area is great to chill around. The place is a home at a vacation. All time love ❤️
