Svenska Design Hotel, Kakinada

Highly recommend the hotel. It’s brand new and very neat and clean. Definitely have the best rooms from all hotels in Kakinada. Sky Lounge is beautiful with really nice ambiance. Staff is also helpful. Though located in industrial park, but they provided free drop and pick up to SRMT Mall that is just a kilometre away and has all the shopping, dining and entertainment options. It’s also very convenient when travel to/ from both Vizag and Rajahmjndary airports. Try this European hotel and you won’t be disappointed.

We had our family wedding at Svenska and were happy with the arrangements. The Grand Ballroom is a very impressive space and comfortably accommodated over 500 guests. We also took 20 rooms and all our guests were pleased with their experience. Each room is unique and has consistently high-quality fittings & fixtures. They are also very spacious with comfortable bed and massive TV. Overall, we were happy we selected this hotel as they really looked after us well.

It's a spanking new hotel with very modern designs. Rooms are huge and well-fitted. Bed is super comfortable and apparently each room has a unique design. Have stayed a couple of times and not been disappointed. Both service and facilities are good. Food takes a little time but worth the wait as flavours are good and they seem to be preparing fresh food after receiving guest orders rather than typical pre-prepared food that most hotels serve. I also liked their pool and gym areas. Will try the spa on my next visit. Overall, Svenska is a good choice and great value for money.

The location of the hotel is great. The rooms are big and standard in size and have all the necessities that you expect from the hotel. The buffet breakfast is awesome at the hotel and has an excellent spread. The staff is very friendly and the service is very prompt. The price in which I had booked the room was very nice. Plus the staff present at the hotel was really very helpful and courteous be it the housekeeping team or the security team they all were always up to the mark. The housekeeping incharge along with his team members were always ready to help and they always responded on time and kept the room very clean. Security person was also very nice and always welcomed us with a smile. Overall experience at the hotel was very nice and I would surely stay in this hotel again. This was my first visit to this hotel but I loved the overall experience.

It is quiet and clean & comfortable. however, not in the heart of the city.|Breakfast is very basic and spa wasn’t operating. Pool needs more efforts in cleaning. TV was also is mostly with membership.|Staff is very friendly and helpful.|Not recommended walk alone outside because of dogs, staff at reception can help with taxi no.

My experience was quite pleasant. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was cozy, and the amenities provided were up to standard. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay more enjoyable. However, I did encounter an issue with the bath water. The water was salty and had an unpleasant smell, which was quite off-putting. This significantly affected my bathing experience and is something I believe the hotel should address promptly. Despite this, the rest of the stay was good, and I would recommend the hotel if the water issue is resolved. I hope management looks into this matter to improve the overall guest experience.

After a great stay in Feb, I returned to Svenska Kakinada now and had another fabulous stay. The hotel is very well-maintained and the staff is excellent. Food & drinks are reasonably priced and good value for money. Facilities are superb, rooms are very spacious, and cleanliness & hygiene is by far the best that Kakinada has to offer. Will be back again soon!
