Good place to stay, clean and neat ambiance.

Checked in on 28th Jan and stayed the night and then checked out on 29th Jan Directly booked by calling the hotel. (Ours was the 3rd type of room in 5 types) For the price I paid I expected better from the hotel. I will never stay here again. My review covers my experience with respect to parking, food and room. In short I do not recommend this hotel. Also I couldn't see any other family only single traveling men. First I as a female traveler didn't feel comfortable for some reason. Felt jittery and on edge even though the staff were ok. PARKING : Parking is available. Very limited and tightly parked. My dad could park it but as a novice I would have had difficulty. It is covered parking and inside the hotel FOOD (Dinner and Breakfast) : Though it is shown 3 star hotel it doesn't have an in house restaurant. Can order from Swiggy/Zomato. Bit difficult as a vegetarian (ended up ordering from Pizza hut). Complimentary breakfast (buffet) is available on the 4th floor (not limited). The idli, dosa, vada, punugulu were all sour. I preferred corn flakes and bananas over them. The security guard was nice enough to direct me towards the rest room since I was visibly uncomfortable from needing to pee very badly and couldn't even wait till I got my room. That rest room was neat. ROOM : The moment I saw my room and the attached bathroom I was so glad I was only staying for the night. I wanted to vacate immediately. It was dusty. The bed sheets had stains. The pillows smelled stuffy as well. The room was cramped. When we asked them to change the bed sheets they really wanted us to just drop it and adjust because apparently the cleaning staff already left for the day. My dad had to call them again and ask firmly to give a clean bed sheet so that at least we could place it on the dirty one in order to sleep since we don't have any other choice and it was already 8pm or so and only then did they send someone to place a clean one over the dirty one. The BATHROOM is a nightmare. It had brown stains all over the toilet seat. We had to clean it ourselves. Our toilet sanitizer spray was completely used up (it was half full) and we had to use so much water to clean it up. There was stains on the floor and the bathroom window looked so fragile that I skipped taking a bath. I couldn't sleep much because of all the outside noise and I think it was the generator noise as well since we had a power cut. I will never go to this hotel again. If the maintenance of the rooms were better this place wouldn't have been such a horrible experience. The hygiene needs to improve of both the room and the bathroom. I wish the rooms didn't feel so stuffy. The staff response needs to improve too. The reception looks nice enough. After all of this even though we gave tip to the security guard and the reluctant staff member who carried our bags and refused to change our bed sheets, they outright asked for a bigger tip which we refused to give. All in all nope never again will I book this hotel. I now will think twice before trusting reviews. How did this hotel get a score of 4.1/5 At most I will give 2.75/5

Mourya Inn is the place to stay in Ongole in absolute royalty. The premium rooms are spacious with large washrooms. There is ample space to keep your bags, desk to work on your laptop, electric kettle for tea/ coffee, fridge for your drinks, sofa to relax, ample secured parking, bed is super comfortable, staff is courteous, lift to the top floors and breakfast was the best of all the hotels we have stayed. The coffee was awesome. In fact they have a large coffee bar in the reception bustling with guests. They have a electric vehicle charging point as well to recharge your EV. The hotel is centrally located opposite the main bus stand and bustling market with restaurants in walking distance. Only issue was the automatic lights in the washroom which goes off if the sensors do not detect any movement. This issue needs to be fixed by the hotel management. How are we suppose to move when sitting in the commode?

The room was nice and the service also was good. Two important lapses 1) though AC was indicating 17 and 18 temperature AC was not functioning. 2) exhaust fan in wash room was not functioning

Rooms are Good. Service is great. Overall a three day stay was satisfactory for us. They provided us with a complimentary breakfast buffet which was good. On the ground floor they have a lounge where u can order coffee and snacks. The taste was good but a bit pricey.

We weren't allowed to use the restroom facility. They declined quite rudely when we requested them, saying outsiders aren't allowed to use the restroom. We went in to have breakfast at their restaurant on our way from Chennai to Vijayawada. Food was self-service but didn't taste good. Chutneys were raw. I'm not sure if that's how food tastes in Ongole but we sure aren't going back to this place ever.

Our family stayed in this hotel in January 2024 and we had a very pleasant experience. We booked 2 double AC rooms that were clean, room service excellent and staff courteous. Free complimentary breakfast was very tasty. We confidently recommend this hotel for anyone who plan to stay in Ongole. Mani Shankar

Centrally located hotel with clean, well maintained rooms and indoor, covered parking space. The staff was very responsive and helpful. There is no in house restaurant, but hotel staff arrange for food delivery and provide plates and cutlery. Delivered food was quite delicious. There is also a good breakfast spread arranged in the hotel, with an array of South Indian breakfast items and fresh fruits. Overall, a very nice stay and would highly recommend.
