This is one of the bustand where we will get many buses here. I always refer A.P.S.R.T.C buses to travel. There are many private travels but the safety is important to us. I always prefer to have Safe and Happy Journey in government Buses. There will be more people in this buses

Not that big busstand. Not that heavy traffic busstand. This busstand is big enough than a village busstand and small enough than an heavy busstand. No canteen, No proper toilets, No cleanliness, no proper enquiry. Some near by bus services don't even come to bus stand stops. They just blew horn outs side busstand and go there way. Had to note that point.

Need to develop alot here but easy to identify. Two busstands are here. One new and other is old. All buses will come to new bus stand. And all buses are available at araveti theater. Local buses are available at old bus stand

Book a ticket with APSRTC, and they will charge you 20 rupees reservation fee + another 20 rupees for various services in the name of various cess. + 5 rupees Toll fees for every toll gate. Now, APSRTC charges you this much, and if you think that those charges are really used, then you are definitely wrong. Visit APSRTC depot and you will understand better. Even before you enter Proddatur APSRTC premises, a Foul smell welcomes you. Just don't smell that. If you smell that, your nostrils for some fraction of time loose the sense of smelling. Problem with this Proddatur depot of APSRTC bus stand is, Cleanliness is Zero. An Old out dated building. Improper and irregular announcements. I.e they announce some times and some other times, they keep chitchatting. Buses owned by APSRTC are ages old. Even super luxury services are not maintained properly. Express and other bus services are maintained at a lowest possible level of maintenance. Though Proddatur is a well developed town, One have to wonder, Proddatur APSRTC depot never had GARUDA or other AC Type services. Now coming to quality of services rendered, more than half of the buses are hired buses in this depot. Some bus services don't even start form bus stand. They just blow a horn outside bus stand and go away. It is must to know if you are a 1st time visitor. Most people prefer private services in this town. Since because they are more clean, they are more secure, they are more timely than Proddatur APSRTC.

There are 2 bus stands in proddatur. We call this as new bus stand(Kottha BusStand). You can get buses to chennai, Hyderabad, banglore at night time. Last bus to kadapa will be up to 11pm.

Being a single bus station in the town it should be more bigger and must have more facilities. Any time it looks very dusty. Not sufficient place for entrance and exit.

Need to get huge improvement small places are getting excellent shape, compared to them proddatur is very huge and very populated but bus stand just ruin it's popularity

One of the oldest busstand in Y. S. R KADAPA DISTRICT. It is located in mydhukur road. There is a old busstand located near 3 town police station,Dhuvuru road Constructed in 1963
