Hotel Southern Grand, Vijayawada

The room is not at all good. Full of cigarette smell. We entered the room and asked the housekeeping person to spray a freshener. The room is very congested. Food is good but the quantity is very less.

Located very close to Vijaywada JN railway station. Spacious, well maintained rooms. Clean toilets and shower. Housekeeping service is good. In house restaurant is there but all food items listed on the menu are not available at all times. Limited choice of options but food quality is good and tasty. Staffs were courteous and helpful. Had a pleasant stay with them.

Rooms were not good, looks old and not that clean, its around 1.5km to Kanaka Durga temple, we had food in their restaurant it was too good but not all items were not available only selected items were there and there are no nearby restaurants around.

Staff Are not polite, they not working customer. They working on their own. They told if you willing you stay or go out. Very bad experience.

Worst Experience... No basic amenities were provided, no towel no packaged water not even mat infront of bathroom and yes one more Fan was like Silencer Of Bullet. And no response from reception if you call for something. Online price was just 1400₹ and they demanded 2500₹,as it was late I had to stay.. Anyways if you are thinking to book better book online and then go otherwise they will demand hefty charges from you!

Management behavior worse and rude. Don't respect customers. Place is also not good. There are ample of options other than this go for it.

The only good thing is that this hotel is very close to the railway station The rest is pathetic of this hotel. Lift stops working oftentimes when there is no electricity even Room AC doesn't work. The bathroom and washroom are Dirty and Filthy with broken basins and the most concerning thing is the washroom doesn't lock which is an alarming thing when you are travelling with ladies. The receptionists are quite dull and don't respond promptly to your issues. They have free pick and drop service from the railway station which is good.

Pathetic experience. No adequate staff to help you with anything. Managers are not at all friendly. Wifi is not working. Room service is miserable. Room lock is worst. One of the manager was rude behaviour, Food provided is also worst. They are charging as if it is a 5 star hotel but they are rendering worst facilities, accommodation & hospitality. Dear friends, Kindly cross check these things I mentioned before you check-in & don't waste your time& money also.
