Red Fox by Lemon Tree Hotels, Vijayawada

I stayed here as part of my Business trip. Rooms were decent and spacious. Though not great. Decent space in the toilet and bath area. However, there were issues in the tap (water was not coming out from the pipe, but only from the shower above). Service was very good and staff were courteous - be it at the check in desk or at the restaurant. For a brief stay (especially if you are going to be out most of the day for work or sight seeing), this is definitely a good option. They should look at improving the quality of linen and also the lighting. Rooms with the road side view have better lighting. Also, they should look at urinals in the toilet, at a lesser height - especially for children (as quite a few come with family).

Clean and nice room. AC, the fan in the ceiling, toilet, tv - everything worked as expected. Very kind staff. Reception very friendly and helpful. If were going to a special place in the city, they wrote it on a paper in telugu, so the tuktuk-driver understood. Normaly the tuktuk-driver did not speak English.

Recently in the month of October, we stayed at the red fox hotel . The overall amenities were just excellent. The food was finger licking and I enjoyed the recieving nature of all the staff members . I would choose the same place for my next visit to Vijayawada. Thank you for the great service .

I have stayed three nights in this hotel and . Room ambience are very good and they are providing daily fresh ammonites . And loob and restaurant is so attractive and nice . Smell also to good . Staff also so obedient and helpfull |It was located in heart of the city

We have driven from Bangalore to Vijayawada on 23rd Nov for almost 12Hrs and reached hotel by around 9.30PM. We have a booking done online in the morning and a booking ID was given to us in WhatsApp. The first thing I asked was to have someone pick the luggage, I was told that all ppl left and the valet driver volunteered to bring the luggage. I was taken aback that a business hotel don't have anyone to pick the luggage. While i was having the luggage taken out of my car, I sent my Dad to the reception to get the room details etc. We had called the hotel 2Hrs back and asked for a confirmation on a room as I have elderly parents travelling with me. I don't want any delay at the reception as we all are exhausted after a long journey. By the time I reached the reception after unloading the luggage and keeping my car in the parking, my Dad is still standing, mind you!!! STANDING at the reception and two guys are searching the computer for something. They are not in any hotel uniform, but in casual dresses. None seem to have any courtesy to even smile or ask my Dad to sit. When I reached the reception they were asking the name on which reservation was made. I said there is an ID created for reservation and you should be knowing the details. They were repeating themselves. I can say I waited at reception for almost 30mins. They even said that we dint book this hotel and did reservation else where. The bill says some 3285/- but we paid 5000/- online. When I asked this, they said its GST. A bill should contain the whole amount with every component detailed. That's not there. Then they started asking how many ppl again. While booking the hotel itself we booked for 3 adults. Why this question again? When we went in to the room, its almost 10PM. Towels and dental kit were kept for only 1 person. We had to ask them for it. I realized that the drain in the shower is clogged. I realized it at when I was taking the shower and couldn't report it as its already midnight and I don't want my sleep to be disturbed. We had to live through it in the morning while showering. We have to leave as soon as possible in the morning for our travel so we have no time for this. I expected this hotel to be well maintained as it's a Lemontree hotel. Just before we are leaving, I asked for a laundry bag. Alas, I was given an used dirty one which is torn and a room number on it (I think 315). Means, they have thrown a used dirty bag to me and I was shocked. I am in a hurry to get in to my car and leave for another 6hrs drive. I could see that the people at the reception in the morning are a little bit more of hotel employees. When I was listing all these issues, they were staring as if all this happened in their hotel. They are not aware of the clogging issue. When I said abt the laundry bag, the housekeeping lady was called and asked on why an used one is given. She said as its asked urgently I dint bother to check if its a used and dirty one. This is the treatment of the guests. Room is very congested. Washroom stinks. No maintenance. There’s no menu in the room. WiFi password is not given. And there is no courtesy at the reception. Such a horrific experience starting from the parking, check-in and checking out. Lemontree hotels, are you listening?

I booked this hotel just 2 hours before arriving in Vijayawada, and I was very impressed with the service. The staff were accommodating and prepared food for us before we arrived, which was a thoughtful touch. Despite reaching around 11 PM, they provided all the requested amenities promptly. Overall, the service was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended for their responsiveness and hospitality!
