Agaam Hotel

I'll say the cost of the hotel is cheap but that is like itne me itna hi milega type. Because they don't maintains the hygiene. Walls of the room are covered with spits of gutka and other stains looks and feels really bad to stay. And check everything in the room first before staying, my tv was not working, bathroom had no shower, you have to ask for a towel, staffs are rude as they talk to you, manager is so irresponsive. I'll suggest, one should go for some other place to stay. I really didn't liked it.

Along does not have much choice when it comes to hotels and the Aagaam was recommended to me as one of the better places to stay. The first impression is not good. The outside of the building is very grubby and beaten up and the bad impression continues inside. The stairs to the hotel and then to the rooms are filthy and there is a big heap of rubbish at the side of the flight heading to the rooms. With that introduction the rooms were actually better than anticipated. The one that I selected from those shown was large with a separate sitting area. It had fans, a/c, an ancient but functional TV, tiled bathroom and functional geyser.||||There were towels and soap provided but no topsheet. There was also a large balcony. ||||While the room seemed reasonably freshly painted it was quite dirty. There was dust in all the corners and on ledges and an old soap wrapper floating in the toilet. There was also a big hole in the top of the toilet cistern and old wet cigarette butts clogging the bathroom drain. ||||The food was okay, breakfast was pretty good. ||||In the end, while the bed itself seemed clean enough the whole thing gave me the creeps and I moved to the nearby Circuit House after 1 night.

10 min walk from sumo or state bus station. We stay a non AC room double for Rs600. Given this price not much we could expect. Restaurant food ok. I am surprise why it listed as #1 among other B&B which actually disappoint me. Room are simple but dust around corner of the room. Room equip with old fashion TV. Hot water not working. There are rubbish accumulate below the staircase and some outside the room corridor. Noted the same comment as per 2013 Travelers review. We stay at another hotel on our way back from Menchuka.

Only God knows how I landed here in Along... A very old acquaintance informed me that this is the ONLY hotel in the town of Along... I was already exhausted and was ready to even sleep on the road... But once I went inside it was like heaven on Earth... A dirty room and a bathroom alongside, I felt I was in paradise... A shabby place but it was such a huge relief... Rest once i had food and slept the whole night, I went on to my next adventure the following day... No regrets... It was a lovely stay.

It's a bad reputation hotel. Rooms are in bad shape, dirty and scary.. It's only tep tep hotel where you do your business and leave. That's why the price is low.

Cash payment only. Rooms are okay. Food is so so. Location good. Parking on the road in front of hotel. Google map location is wrongly shown at DC office.

The rooms are decent but lacks proper ventilation. Price is cheap. Location isn't pretty but is close to the market. The food isn't worth the price.
