Hotel Kameng Inn

Excellent property and very convenient with very peaceful environment. The hotel with an enchanting view ,scenery was beautiful to watch from the room itself and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The staffs were very helpful and always available , even in midnights.

I will give negative review to this hotel. I stayed there one night on 26th Oct 2023. At night while we were sleeping, thief entered our room through the window and took away my mobile and also money from my wallet. I think it is the responsibility of the owner to provide security to the tourists. In the morning they said, " you should have locked the window". Actually the window was closed but not locked and the window was covered by curtain so we didn't checked the lock. I think if such thefts are common in this area then they should warn the tourist.

Apart from the location, this hotel is probably one of the worst things that happened during the Arunachal Pradesh trip. 1. The hotel staff, including the manager(probably owner), seemed shady. First, they must learn the difference between running a shop and operating in the hospitality industry. We came from a different place, and there were many other hotels in that area, but there was not a pinch of hospitality in their gesture. I remember the owner or manager (I don’t know who the lady was), asked me twice about the advanced payment as if I was going to run away without paying. 2. When my wife asked for an extra blanket, she plainly said every room had a fixed amount of blankets and not possible to provide. It may be possible, not a problem in that, but the way she threw the sentence was as if we came to a dharmasala. 3. The ambience was straight out from Norman Bate’s hotel (Hitchcock’s Psycho). Nobody was there; two staff looked at us as if we were the first guests they ever saw. The sceptical looks indifferent attitude show the room, and when asking about the food, the uninteresting reply to tell us to go to the nearby shops to search for food. 4. A few days ago, before our arrival, a theft happened in the hotel, and the owner completely denied the responsibility. She even told us to lock all doors and windows. When we entered the room, the balcony door’s latches were broken. Overall, in my opinion if anyone wants to stay in Bhalukpong, it is better to stay in Tippi or any hotel near the city. The location is good but the food joints are very rudimentary, people are cynical, and there is a strange air, which is a bit disturbing.

This is a nice place to stay with a good view. It overlooks the kameng river. The rooms are spacious and clean. Food is simple and more like a home stay. They cook fresh food once the order is placed so need to place the order in advance. Prices are reasonable, charged us 1500 for a double bed room and a clean bathroom, had continuous hot water facilities and overall good to stay for a day or two. Rooms have all the basic facilities.

This Hotel has great service and great view. Only problem is the interior comfort. It seems it needs some makeover. They should get rid of old stiff pillows

This beautiful place has great facilities, great food and hot shower! The rooms are super comfortable, and the view from the balcony is stunning! The owner of the place was so nice and helpful, he helped us with everything that we needed:) the workers here made me feel home! Thank you so much

Nice and clean hotel. Best thing is the view from the hotel and location. You can see Kameng river from your balcony/window. Friendly staffs and you can have good homely foods (which may take longer than usual but good in taste)

It was in January 2017, we were on a trip visit few places in northeast, and tawang was one of them. We stayed in this hotel on the way to tawang, as well as on the way back from tawang to guwahati. So overall two nights we stayed here.|We were 6 girls, had booked two rooms. |The first time we stayed i.e. whole going to tawang, it was a pleasant stay. When we reached, it was around 9pm, not many ppl were there in the hotel. Hotel is spacious, rooms were clean.And were served with good food. We left for tawang next day morning.||After two days, while returning from tawang, again we stayed over here. We reached the hotel by around 8pm. It was all well till we woke up next day morning. Our friends in the next room started banging our room door, asking if we had their phones. Surprisingly all three of them didn't have their phones with them. ||We searched everywhere, then we found one of the pouches was lying in the terraces. We realised 3 phones were stolen. When we told the hotel guy, they were all so cool about. We asked them to call their owner, and the response we got was, that the owner had gone for a party last night so he would take time to come down to the hotel. ||Finally when the owner came to the hotel, he let us check the CCTV footage, that to they had only one at the entrance. We were able to see one person entering the building, and leave after few mins. ||'Oh it's the same thief, who stole somethings a year before, from the same room we had stayed in, and there is an easy way to climb up to the window side' this is what they said. And then blamed us for not closing the window before sleeping (it was a room in 2nd floor).||It just looked like planned act to us. |They gave us the same room we had stayed 2 days before, even though most of the other rooms were all free. They knew we were gonna come back and stay there again, as our booking was done before itself for both the days. They could have asked us to keep the window closed atleast when the same incident had happened before also, in the same room. ||End of it, there was no point wasting our time there, as we had to start for our further journey. We six ppl somehow managed with three phones during our next few days of the trip! ||I hope no one else falls to the same trap again. ||||
