We were 3 couples and we stayed at this property for 2 nights. ||Hotel Rigsel is a beautifully constructed property amid kiwi and orange orchards. The approach to the hotel is tedious as the roads are narrow and one can spend a lot of time waiting for vehicles to cross from the opposite direction. ||The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious. Our rooms had a view of the valley below. The room heater worked well. The beds were comfortable. The wifi in the rooms was patchy. There is provision to prepare tea and coffee in the rooms. ||Dinners and breakfasts were tasty but the options were limited. Some of the other hotel guests ordered a la carte and the food was delicious (they offered us some). ||The staff at the reception and dinning area were friendly, helpful and efficient. They assisted us in ever possible way. ||The entire property is beautiful and peaceful and we spent considerable time sitting in the garden every evening. ||I would definitely recommend staying at this property while doing the Tawang circuit.

The best thing about this property is the pleasant view from its rooms as well as the balcony. It has a huge space around like an estate. This is indeed a 4 Star Plus property as far as the location, service and rooms are concerned. Awesome food, Awesome room and really a great hospitality. Kudos to the team "The Hotel Rigsel".

The hotel boasts spacious rooms with stunning views, which is its strongest feature. However, it falls short in several key areas, making it not worth the money. The bathroom is poorly lit and impractical. The balcony is tiny, lacks seating, and offers no privacy due to clear sightlines from neighboring balconies, rendering it useless. Breakfast was disappointing, with limited options and most items served cold. Additionally, the front desk staff was not very welcoming, further detracting from the experience. Significant improvements are needed to justify the cost. Edit after hotel's reply: We paid the full amount in advance before arriving at the hotel and settled all food bills in full without ever requesting a discount. Based on the hotel's previous responses, it appears to be their shameful tactic to imply that negative reviews stem from guests being denied discounts. Such deplorable behavior.

Hotel Rigsel in Dirang is one of the best hotels I have stayed at! The hospitality was warm and welcoming, making me feel at home. The food was delicious, and the views from the hotel were absolutely breathtaking. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, ensuring a relaxing stay. Everything about this place was perfect, from the service to the peaceful surroundings. It was simply an amazing experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dirang!

It was a little hard to find the way to the hotel as it is situated slightly away from the main town. Google maps showed us a wrong way to reach. All the staff was very sweet and cooperative. It did not have a swimming pool but there was a beautiful lawn in front of the property. The Breakfast and dinner were delicious. There are kiwi and orange farms in front of the hotel. There is a gorgeous view of Dirang river from the room balcony.

It's a 3star property. We booked a suite room which could accommodate a family with 2 kids. Room was spacious with balcony and neat with a heater in very good condition. Bathroom is nothing extraordinary, I think the lighting is less, which makes it look dark. Bath towels quality is not good, they definitely need to improve. The restaurant menu is nice and reasonable. One particular order for kids, they screwed up, didn't serve for 2hours, had to go down to reception and restaurant and show some anger to get things moving. Certain items are very tasty, certain not so much. Surprised to see Thali on menu, but not actually available. Breakfast spread is limited, poori-subzi, parantha, egg, tea-coffee, poha etc. they don't serve any fresh fruits or fresh juices or Dosa etc. I asked one waitress for Omlette, she told me I can either have a boiled egg or an omelette, not both, didn't quite get that. They serve filter water at breakfast, if we ask for bottled water, it's chargeable, but that's alright. There are no facilities for kids, no play area, not even a play room. Good thing is that they have driver's dormatory. They lock the main door of the hotel at 11pm and all go off to sleep without anyone in reception, with a hotel full of guests. I was visiting a friend and came back late night only to enter through the back door. The views of Chug Valley is amazing. Hotel staff are simple & warm with a smile always. I recommend this hotel, there is no better place to stay in Dirang than Rigsel, and it's value for money, so if we can adjust a bit, why not.

We checked in after a terrible experience at a homestay. Since we were 3, they only had a suite for us.||Very large room with view of river and monastery. Big balcony. ||Good friendly staff, fast service.||Food is average. Can improve in restaurant service quality.
