I wish I could give more stars. Best homstay. Aunty and uncle is so loving and caring. I miss the gossips with them in the kitchen near Bukhari(fireplace). Food is simple yet so tasty. Aunty manages everything by herself. We learn about Tibetan culture from them. Homstay is simple but comfortable. Budget friendly. The homstay is located Domkho village on the route from Shergaon to Dirrang Valley via Mandala top. Weak network. Works only BSNL. Beautiful homstay and view from the homstay is amazing. You must try this homstay to have a real arunachal experience.

Just loved this homestay! To start with it is tucked in a small village named Domkha that is 17 kms from Shergaon. Access is via a small winding hill road that passes through a small forest patch to Domkha before continuing in the same fashion all the way till Mandala. Hitting this small hill road was a refreshing change after cruising through the larger highway till Shergaon. No doubt the new highway makes for easy and fast riding but the rider in me really comes to life in small winding hill roads. That apart, at the homestay you feel welcomed and a part of their home. You get a glimpse of life at the village and the simple life of the hosts, their habits, customs and traditions. Rooms are basic, bathroom is clean and you get local food. Nothing seems to be overdone with tourists in mind, it feels like they just want to share thier homes and lives with us which I believe is the true essence of homestays! I really enjoyed my evening there sitting in the kitchen and chatting with aunty as she was cooking dinner for us. Her passion for gardening can be seen in the flowers arranged beautifully in the front yard and all around. Do bear in mind that BSNL is the only network in the village which is also very erratic...

An untouched destination amidst of nature, perfect place to explore. This beautiful homestay is situated in a small village named Domkho . The beauty of this place is absolutely unexplainable. And while talking about the homestay the only thing I wanna say is you'll just feel like staying at your own home while at this place. Both uncle, aunty and their son Jampa are very much friendly and helpful. And we had the opportunity to explore the locality and aunty's home-cooked traditional food.

Good for explorers. I was with my mother 70years and sister (father dropped plans due to work) so was sort of okay given toilet not attached . But i'd recommend it 100% to anyone who wants to explore real deal of Arunachal Tibetan culture to offer. Excellent hosts. Take left from Bharat Petroleum at Shergoan. One can explore route till NGG.

Everyone should visit Domda jampa homestay, this is the best homestay, I guaranteed you will never feel regret after staying there. My experience was very good, I feel like I'm staying at my own home and food was also very delicious.

Excellent homestay....warm comfy rooms and clean shared toilets. Location is a bit up from the village near the primary school. The hosts, Mr Nawang , his wife and son, Mr Jampa are beautiful human beings and would treat you like their own family Food is homely and tasty. Mr Nawang makes his own wine and local drinks; so do ask for it...it's brilliant.
