NillEverything about this hotel is 0/10!!🙅🏻♀️🚫 Please read though:: We’ve been traveling around india and have been booking our hotels after reaching to hotel and after checking rooms because we’ve suffered before when we booked and place turned out to be average. Since ours is a year long travel so we are bit particular. Here’s the complete ordeal and series of events that took place after us reaching to this hotel: We saw pictures which seemed decent so we went here. Upon reaching we asked at reception about their prices of studio and executive rooms. Their direct prices were bit higher than what we were getting online. So, obviously we thought let us go ahead and book online. All of it we were doing while sitting there in the lobby! The staff got to know that we are booking online so he rushed to the booking management person in the room and immediately increased prices of executive rooms. We were sitting in the lobby where they don’t even have AC and internet is super weak, we somehow after filling all the info that booking apps asks reached to payment page just to realise they increased the prices by 5000/- for executive room. I mean how inhumane and how unfair. It was their prices shown on the app and we being genius level 3 traveller on almost all the apps get additional benefits and discounts so ofcourse we would book using apps if hotel can’t match. So, to show their sadism they did this to us and denied it completely when we asked. The reception guy “Ritupan Sevri” was the extreme rude and cunning. He made this changes and yet he kept denying. We could figure out with the cunning smirk on his face that they’ve done it so that we don’t book online and book through them. We still let that go and went up in the restaurant to eat something because we were exhausted with our travel and heat of course. While having food up there we thought let it be let’s book studio room and get done with it. And we still gave them the benefit of doubt that yes prices for executive rooms might’ve have increased by the central team so let’s book studio room and we told them that will take studio. To our surprise they went ahead and bumped the prices of studio rooms also and shamelessly denied that as well. All of it went for about 3-4hours. I was least interested in staying in this property but my partner was reluctant to book here so we kept trying. This reception guy, another guy named Shubham and their booming management guy all of them together started lying that no, we can’t change prices, central team does that and so on.,. I mean they were the cunning most and most wily people I’ve even seen in a hospitality industry… At the end they didn’t let us book there cuz they understood we ain’t going to book directly through them.. so they kept increasing prices to make sure we book through them and that money directly goes in their pocket without having to bill it.. At last after arguing for hours they were like we are fully booked whereas they had many rooms available. They just wanted us to pay to them directly…. I don’t understand how can someone behave so rude to guests in hospitality industry. However, I’m glad that we didn’t book here.. this place wants t worth the hassle we took, if you are in Dibrugarh please go for “Sarovar Portico” their hospitality is top notch and their staff is beyond sweet & super courteous. We were supposed to be in Dibrugarh for 3 days but portico was so so good that we ended up staying for 5 days. I forgot how worst Raj meridian was but it’s important to share with y’all so that y’all can take mindful decision. Everything about this hotel is 0/10!!🙅🏻♀️🚫

NillI recently visited Raj Meridian, hoping for a pleasant experience, especially as a member of their so-called "Privileged Membership." Unfortunately, the experience was more frustrating than enjoyable. The membership was pushed aggressively through numerous calls, but after purchase, it became evident that they are failing to honor the promises they make. From the start, the staff seemed confused about what their membership entailed. For instance, they initially couldn’t differentiate between IMFL liquor and Scotch, finally admitting their error after some discussion. There was also confusion over what counted as a main course vs. a starter. They claimed that "anything with water in it is a main course, and anything dry is a starter"—an explanation that only added to the chaos and spoiled our evening. On my visit on November 2nd, 2024, they even tried to deny me the membership benefits, claiming it was Diwali—a holiday that wasn’t on that date. Only after I questioned them did they agree to provide the services. However, the inconsistent categorization continued: items that were previously listed as main courses were suddenly reclassified on my next visit. This inconsistency and lack of organization are not what one expects from a reputable establishment. While I’ll admit the food was decent, other venues in town like Altitude, Atmosphere, and HM Resort excel not only in taste but also in their professionalism and consistency. Unfortunately, Raj Meridian seems more interested in luring people with their "membership" rather than delivering the promised experience. If you're considering their membership, be prepared for potential confusion and a lack of clarity. I hope they improve these issues soon, as it’s clear they’re losing customers due to this mismanagement.

NillThe room service of the hotel is pathetic. As on date of my stay, there was only one server for approximately 30 rooms which were all booked. The hotel staff is helpless about it. I had initially planned to stay here for 5 nights but looking at the pathetic service, I am checking out after one night. When I told the hotel about checking out due to sub standard service they were not at all bothered. I being a frequent traveller across the country have not seen such such apathetic behaviour from people of the service industry. To the owners- You may build a hotel with money but invest in your staff. Your staff is throughly frustrated and unhappy. I have been to smaller properties who atleast well with their guests even if thier facilities aren't that great.

★★★★The hotel is newly constructed, with well appointed rooms. Good location with easy access to business hubs, tourist spots and the airport.|Rooms are fairly spacious, I stayed at an Executive Room, which I found was very much at par with any leading property across India. Lovely scenic view from the large French window!|In-house restaurant is fairly good, with wide menu options, delectable preparations and sumptuous proportions. |Staff is friendly and supportive. ||Minor drawbacks/shortcomings:|- although rooms are fitted with a variety of lights, but conspicuous with the absence of a night lamp!|- fittings are new, in contemporary styling, but may need closer inspection on regular basis. Despite looking 'new', I observed a couple of fixtures have become loose!|- breakfast buffet may well do with a bit more variety/range, especially in breads

NillThis is a new property located in the heart of the city. The room and bathroom were neat and clean. The restaurant experience was good, the food served was tasty and as a North Indian Cuisine and Vegetarian eater I was satisfied with the taste of dishes prepared. Room service and table service was very impressive, staff is courteous and prompt in their response.
