Laxmi Hotel

I had a terrible experience at a hotel where theft occurred during our stay. Overnight, thieves stole money and other valuables through the window. We immediately reported the incident to the manager, who claimed to have informed the owner but received no response. Given the lack of security and the hotel management's failure to address the situation adequately, I strongly advise against staying there. It's essential to prioritize your safety and choose accommodations with reliable security measures in place.

Good value and friendly. The management was exceptionally responsive to messages sent through the Google Maps app (much appreciated!), with good English, and the young men at the desk were friendly despite apparent lack of experience or English ability (unfortunately I don’t speak Boro, Assamese, or Hindi). I payed Rs. 600 as one person in a room with a double bed and big windows. The walls and toilet were covered in old mold stains, but the room was actually pretty well cleaned, with no odors, and the bed was made with clean and comfortable bedding. The geyser (water heater) was unusually tricky to use, but I was pleasantly surprised that they had one at all. For power outages, they had a generator that they only ran at night, which was fine with me, since the weather was cool enough. There were some mosquitoes coming in, but it was okay if I kept the ceiling fan running while I slept. The location is good, within easy walking distance of the train station.

Toilet condition in Room no 114 is not satisfactory. Mosquito net 🥅 should be provided at night. Rest ok Stayed during 1st Bodoland International Knowledge Festival in March, 2023. Liked it. Hope to visit again. SATYAJEET SAIKIA Guwahati

Good ambience and well mannered helpful staff. Rooms are clean and in the center of Kokrajhar Town. Very near to Railway station, Kokrajhar Medical Hospital, Bus Stand etc. Good place to stay.

Budget hotel at Kokrajhar located just near the RNB Civil Hospital Rooms are big. Food menu is limited. Staff are helpful. Homely place to stay

It's very average hotel but this location is very good and staffs are coeporative. Food quality is also good.
