OYO Flagship Hotel G K Palace

Didn't actually stay but had a good look so giving only a review of rooms and location. Hotel had a deserted under-construction feel inside and is located next to a swampy pond filled with rubbish and a large bustie (slum). Mosquitoes everywhere. I couldn't recommend this to anyone for these reasons.

Don't visit in off season like may june , room service is zero because you have to buy every thing from outside even tea & water. TV not available. Location is good, rooms are spacious, TV

First time I have visited to this place with the recommendation of some people trust me the services outstanding the rooms are outstanding and the people behaviour very polite and decent and friendly and the rooms are very neat and clean and luxurious at very low price.

The hotel is newly constructed. The rooms are spacious enough to play room cricket or football inside. A family of 4 can easily get accommodated with two double bed. The room we got was clean. Regarding bathroom, it was big but there was no option of hot water. Basic facilities like towel and drinking water was provided only when asked.

Very poor location. Awful service. Not even received a soap towel etc. Hot water not available. Rooms are smelly not properly cleaned. Found dirty sports on bed linen. Horrible experience. Recommend to avoid at any cost.

I have never had such a dirty hotel room. The staff is nice, the hotel could be a good place, but it is terribly dirty. I had the impression that they never clean the room. Bedding is bloodstained and not changed for at least 5 guests. Don't stay at this place.

The experience was horrible to say the least. I didn't stay after checking in and had to shift to another hotel. The staff, sanjay kumar on duty was almost rude. I felt I have been given a punishment by coming to this hotel. The hotel was under renovation and not ready for receiving the guests still booking was taken. I should at least be refunded the amount I paid for not staying in the hotel. I am going to share this experience with all my friends and acquaintances. J p Singh

Rating : 1 - Very Poor. It is shame on OYO to enrol such hotels in their list which fights with customer because hotel tariff was not increased by OYO during the season & thus making guest feel like He has made a crime by booking with OYO online. Also it’s shame on OYO staff on duty who were unable to help their customer in this situation. 1st OYO Rep, a lady after hearing the problem said that she will try to shift me to another hotel as G K Palace manager is asking for too much extra money from OYO. But she didn’t follow up inspite of me waiting for approx two hours. Then 2nd Gentleman from OYO said that he will find out what can be done & disconnected without any follow up. 3rd OYO staff seemed clueless and without understanding the problem started asking unnecessary questions like it was my fault to book with OYO online. Finally, after giving up hopes from OYO I negotiated with Property manager and negotiated to give away one room (kept only 3 rooms whereas had booked for 4 rooms) & additionally paid 1200/-. This was horrific experience & due to stubborn behaviour of hotel manager, wanted to call local police to sort the problem out but my team members advised against it as to enjoy our trip instead of involving in police case. Me, my family and friends are shocked with this experience and would never use OYO in future.
