Sakura House

Excellent value in good location. Room and attached bathroom are spotless clean. Plenty of hot water in the shower. The bathroom is large enough to keep access to basin and toilet dry when taking a shower. Rooftop terrace. No need for a restaurant at the hotel because plenty of food options right around the corner. The super friendly staff can arrange food if you want to eat in your room. Mahabodi Temple and giant Buddha in walking distance.

We have checked in today and are staying for 2 nights. This review may change. First impressions, the hotel is clean and a good location. There is no safe in the room. We did not like someone touting us to take a tour as we were trying to check-in after a long train trip. It was not a good feeling to me as a guest.

I recently stayed at Sakura House for 2 nights with my family and had a pleasant experience. The room was basic and clean with free Wi-Fi, AC, and hot and cold water. Don't expect luxury, but the service was exceptional, with very helpful and friendly staff, especially Ravi, who was extremely attentive and polite. They arranged vehicles for our travel and were always willing to help with anything we needed. The hotel's location is very convenient, within walking distance to the Mahabodhi Temple and the Great Buddha Statue. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant, there are plenty of dining options nearby. One of the beautiful memories from our stay was befriending a cute dog (I forgot the name☹️) of them. Despite the ongoing renovations during our stay, the staff's behavior and service were outstanding. The hotel might lack luxury and decorative elements, but the kindness and efficiency of the staff make it a great place to stay. True to its name, Sakura, the hospitality here was beautiful.

Location is perfect and rooms are also very good services like cleaning room is very good. If you are planning to visit multiple places like 80 feet and main temple, thi temple this hotel is at perfect location

Great place ! The owner was very kind. He brought me a lot of experiences. I was able to do things that I normally wouldn't be able to experience🙏 We also had dinner together and had a very good time.🍛 The rooms are kept very clean✨

What I like about Sakura house is it’s location. It takes less than ten minutes to go to the Mahabodhi temple and the market. Also the room is clean and they clean room every few days. The staffs are friendly.

No great shakes here. Basic clean room. Functioning AC, running hot and cold water. What they lack in decor they make up with an willingness to help you with a smile. When we went, the restaurant was closed for rennovation. Yet they managed morning tea and breakfast. We stayed here for a night.
