SPOT ON Hotel Prince

One of the best hotel in Bodh Gaya. Cold and Hot water service is also available in Bathroom. Very Neat and Clean. Besides the market road it is very peaceful inside the hotel. You can get all your needs delivered to your room with just one call. . Receptionist always available... His behaviour is very polite especially Mr. Ashwin's way of talking impress everybody...

Hotel does not pick up calls. when I called Oyo to contact them then they say no room available despite the fact that I paid full amount already!! Very careless behaviour by hotel reservation staff. Also I sent one of my known Buddhist monk to go there and check for the reservation but the staff misbehaved with them by saying there is no room and we don't take online reservations.

Situated at prime centre of Dodhi Temple. Building has 5 floors, Hotel is clean and quiet. Usually holds accommodation for trainees from Govt. institution of Bihar. Front view has Tibetan Monastery, if seen from fourth floor side view is the Shikhara of bodhi temple. Surround by a number of street vendors, multipurpose shops and local guides.

*****honest review of my stay for 3 nights : when i arrived there the hotel was abandoned nd this wasn't notified to me when the recipient phoned me earlier, they also charged me extra ₹1500 i don't know why nd i think they thuged me because they weren't able to explain me this. cons.- 1. no generator. 2. room wasn't sanitized or cleaned. 3. no towel, neither soap nor shampoo. 4. no tv. 5. torned nd dirty bedsheet. 6. water ran out 2 times i had to call them nd make them fill the water tank. nd trust me they will never ever listen in one call. well actually there were 2 staffs the one who received me was a bit ganja he never responded to my calls nd to problems with my stay but another staff who served me from day 2 of my stay was good he did everything to make me be comfortable.

Location wise it's good being near to all tourist places at bodhgaya, but interiors are not that good, lift was not working at 2nd floor, rooms were poorly lit and ventilated. Toilets wee clean but shabby looking with average asthetics.

The condition of the rooms are very poor the lighting of the room feels horrific at points. I visited the place in winters and the most required thing is a fully functional geyser,that infact is also not working. In short this hotel is a total mess. The only best thing about this hotel is it's location, if you are just required to spend nights in peace and close to the great locations to visit iin bodh gaya this would be the most economic. But make sure you are fearless as well as can adjust in pathetic conditions like dirty sofas torned out blankets and bed sheets unhygienic washrooms,etc.

We arrived really late at night and it seemed they had no idea of our booking so they took us to another hotel down the road, saying it was the same thing. This hotel was horrible and the bathroom was residence to the biggest cockroach i have ever seen. we were too tired to complain but the next morning we demanded to be moved to Hotel Prince (our original hotel). It was marginally better. No cockroaches but an abundance of flies and bed bugs. Generally not a great stay.

Don't ever think of staying here. Staff don't bother even about customer also they have charged extra from us without letting is know after being full payment made to OYO. Also there is no TV still you can find in OYO that they have mentioned tv facility available. AC not working and washroom is unhygienic.
