New Hotel Shiva

I stayed at New Shiva Hotel from December 11 to 13, 2024. I arrived at the hotel late at night, in the cold weather. I had requested the hotel to send a car to pick me up from the train station for convenience and safety during the late hours, and I also requested them to prepare dinner for me. Although the hotel's kitchen had already closed, they went out of their way to accommodate me, which was a very impressive experience. All the staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service from check-in to check-out. They were always ready to offer helpful advice and answer any questions I had. Additionally, the room service was timely, and the food was delicious, making me feel comfortable and well taken care of. The room was clean, comfortable, and simply decorated but well-equipped. The hotel is also in an excellent location, with easy access to the major tourist attractions in Varanasi, not far from the hotel. Importantly, the hotel has staff on security 24 hours a day, and there is an ATM within the hotel premises, which makes services even more convenient. There is also a café nearby, perfect for relaxing or finding something to eat. Areas for Improvement: Despite the many positive aspects, there were a few issues that could be improved. For example, the water in the bathroom was not warm, and the Wi-Fi occasionally did not work well. However, these issues did not cause much of an inconvenience, as they are common in many hotels. What impressed me the most was how quickly and thoroughly the staff responded when I reported these issues. It made me feel valued and appreciated by the hotel. Additionally, while the blankets in the room were clean, they could benefit from a little extra cleaning for perfection. Overall, New Shiva Hotel is a great place to stay, with excellent service and a convenient location, making it ideal for a relaxing stay in Varanasi.

Manager was unhappy and behaving rudely as we had booked rooms from online platform. May be for the same reason he gave rooms with problems and higher floor. We had a elderly couple but still he provided room on 3rd floor, not considering there is no lift in this facility. There was no hot water, no mirrors in the room, intercom phone where removed- if you want to ask for anything or need, walk down to reception. There is one non functional restaurant.

Been to Hotel Shiva Bodhgaya Delighted by the food served. Hotel service and staff's behaviour was also satisfying Nice ambience

Awesome Room services...all the staff are highly polite.. Room are well equipped wid a wordrobe and furnitures....light system is superb .... both breakfast and lunch is of superb quality Very good Indra GM sir
