NillThey provide just the room and drinking water facility. Rooms are big and spacious with ample sunlight. I checked in at 2 AM and the room was dirty. Next morning I complaint to the Sachin and he replaced our room. So make sure to check in by evening as at night only guard stays at the place.

NillDone my 200 hour yoga teacher training here. Overall good for cost but wouldn’t recommend if you were wanting to actually go on to teach ( I done it for self development as did most of the other students in my course). The yoga equipment is bad quality & often in a limited supply. The mats are old, very dirty, bad quality, ripped & should be changed & bought new more frequently especially since they are so cheap. They are also never cleaned which is quite disgusting, I would recommend having cleaning sprays & cloths for these for students to use. More soft blocks should be available as these were very limited & I would recommend some foam rollers to be available for students. Better visual aids &/ or print outs would be helpful for the theory classes, often we had to gather around to watch something on the instructors phone (our class started out with 13 students, so this was far from helpful). Rubbish including plastics were burned on the grounds, & this would often be done first thing in the morning during our meditation & pranayama class which was done outside. Awful. Also during these classes staff would roam about the grounds chatting & on calls which seems very disrespectful of the learning & class we were doing. We went a couple days without any water for showering which is obviously far from ideal. WiFi often cut out & again there were days there was none for more than 3/4/5 hours. This was more a nuisance for other students who had to continue their jobs & studies outside of their YTT course. There was very little structure in the course. Often there was hear say on what was going on & classes would be cancelled with little notice, the exam days were all over the place & we only found out the plan for timings the day before. The schedule should be determine in advance & not as and when the staff feel like it. Some of the classes we were left to our own devices & we really felt like certain teachers didn’t care about us or our learning which was hugely frustrating. Some of their attitudes were awful at times. Certain staff didn’t ask about body pains when students had, & weren’t given modifications in class when this was the case which is bad practice. Towards the end of the course the vibes were off & most students in my class didn’t enjoy the course & looked forward to finishing up. Food was good but there was only one occasion where we received fruits for breakfast despite yogi life saying to eat raw food as first meal. Strangely chai is in very limited supply. Porridge would also be a good idea perhaps? I would also recommend recycling & having a food waste bin - Seems such a shame not to have this especially in something you call an ‘ashram’. When I joined the course I was told we would have day trips to sweet water lake & to a temple, neither of which happened. Students photos & videos were used on their instagram without consent, again this was something maybe of us didn’t approve of or appreciate. Our rooms were never cleaned & it was up to us the students to do this. I would have hoped for it do be done by staff at least once a week? The difference between 100/200 hour learning is bizarre. Some students started their 100 hour course during the second part of our 200 & thrown into the deep end & given little to no extra help. & 2 students doing the 300 hour were in our course despite having already done a 200 hour course previously (meaning the re done everything they learnt rather then given a more advanced course).

NillStayed here for two days. 7/8 mins walk from Arambol beach. This hotel is totally new. The construction is still going on. Our AC didn’t work well, the washroom was dirty- but they cleaned it before our check in. Parking space available. You dont pay for drinking water. You can also get homecooked food if you order. The food is tasty, but only veg and a bit pricy. The owner is very helpful, also is the KAKA who took care of us. Recommended place for budget traveller. We snatched a deal using booking.com. The KAKA has links for everything you need, the scooty, taxi anything you want. Only downside is AC, washroom and construction sound.

NillDon’t get fooled by looks, First of all this is not an Oyo hotel, poor hospitality, poor, actually bad services. A towel and bed sheets and blankets look wise clean but not hygiene can’t be used. No hot water in washroom for bath. Parking is good..!
