The Noname Guesthouse

Had an amazing stay at The Noname Guesthouse! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. The atmosphere is super cozy, exactly what we were looking for. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious. The balcony was definitely a highlight, such a peaceful spot to relax. The location is great, quiet enough but still close to everything we needed. Whether it was exploring the area, grabbing some food, or just walking around, everything was super accessible. But honestly, what made this stay truly special was the staff. They went above and beyond to help us, way more than we could have expected. Whether it was recommendations, favors, or just making sure we were comfortable, they really made the experience unforgettable. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and we’re so grateful for it. For the price, this place is an absolute steal. If you’re looking for a cozy, affordable, and welcoming stay, I can’t recommend it enough. Would 100% come back!

Great location and overall a good stay. The staff is excellent—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Cleanliness is well-maintained, and it’s definitely better than most hotels in the area. Mobile network reception and Wi-Fi speed are not great, but to be fair, this seems to be an issue throughout the area. Despite the connectivity challenges, I will definitely be recommending this hotel for its excellent service and cleanliness.

Our stay in this property was excellent, host were very helpful, property was near beach only 1 min walk from beach, i recommend if you visit goa do visit in arambol beach and stay in this property|Rooms were clean, equipped with ac, balcony washroom neat clean

The hotel is located near Arambol beach, The market area and shops. Excellent location! The owner Alex has always been attentive to my needs and done everything to make me feel at home. The room was very clean, home and well-equipped with an excellent atmosphere! There is a homely restaurant and a seating area and a crazy rooftop. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a corner to relax and feel at home. I didn't want to leave ...

The most warm hearted, helpful staff I've ever met! Rooms are very clean (non typical for India) and cosy. Location is very convenient - 1min to the beach and several stores around the place. Food was the best we got to taste in Goa and atmosphere is very positive thanks to the staff! Love this place and definitely will return one day!

Really clean and neat rooms with balcony facing main street. Sometimes noizy but the location is very central - all the shops and restaurants are around. Famous German Bakery is just 100 m down the street beach direction. Beach is only 150 m, 3 min away. They have also rooms that are facing sea-side. You'll not find a sea view from the balcony or window but green leaves of almond tree will filter the sun in a daytime;) Staff is amazing - Alex and Vera run the place with love and careness. You can feel really home vibes there. And they have coffee machine with great coffee for 100 rupees. Linen is good quality and fresh and they can change it on request right away. I defenitely will come back to The Noname. Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere!

Stayed at Noname for four days: everything was perfect. Alex arranged a car to/from Goa airport, which removed a lot of anxiety out of may transportation plans. My room was good-sized and right off the common room. It had tile floors, a sink/fridge area, a wide balcony screened by trees, and a small bath with an open shower, sink, and loo. Trippy posters a small book library added warmth to the room. In the local custom,they had a large bed with very firm batting mattress.That took a little getting used to (as did the roosters outside), but by the third night I was sleeping soundly. If you're a light sleeper, I do recommend bringing ear plugs as India, in general, is not a quiet place and the Noname sits in a fairly busy/boisterous neighborhood. ||||The Noname's kitchen and common area are a highlight. The food, firstly, is fresh and delicious -- especially the fruit and smoothies. In retrospect, I wish I'd eaten more of my meals there, but I guess I needed to form that opinion based on experience. ||||Alex and his crew are another highlight. They are constantly around, constantly available, and they know the area and its options very well. One of my pet peeves as a traveler is hotels that won't give you a real opinion about where to go or that only recite sponsored recommendations. By contrast, I found Alex and Ella delightfully open about the good, bad, and meh of local options.||||This was my first time in Arambol. I liked it a lot and, really, Noname is a big part of why. If I go back (and I hope I can), I'll definitely try to stay there again.
