Hotel Lua Nova - Best Hotel in Baga Goa

My stay at this hotel has been extremely disappointing. It’s currently 12:45 am, and despite having prepaid for another night, I’ll be checking out first thing in the morning due to ongoing issues that haven’t been resolved. When I arrived, the check-in process was chaotic. Even though I had pre-booked, it seemed like the staff had no prior information, which made the process unnecessarily complicated. Later, I discovered that the WiFi didn’t work because the router at the reception was turned off that night. Throughout the day, there were repeated power outages, and the air conditioning in my room stopped working around 2 pm. I reported it right away, then again in the evening, and several more times through the night. Each time, I was told, “it’ll be fixed in 10 minutes,” but no one actually came to the room to check. Strangely, other areas, like the restaurant and a neighboring guest’s room, had working AC. After 10 pm, the only person on the property was the security guard. Reception was completely unattended, and the security guard did his best to help by calling someone in charge, but that person just kept repeating that it would “start in 10 minutes” before eventually switching off his phone. All other contact numbers for the staff were either unresponsive or turned off.

👍🏻Great room and service. Bit overrated as it's near Baga beach and Anjuna beach. Very good service. Will clean the rooms asap if we request. 👎🏼The Blanket was very dirty and one room A/C was not working well. 🏘️Might get cheaper and better hotels at that place.

My husband and I stayed for 11 nights from 15th January. The staff are an absolute credit to the hotel; they all work very hard and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel was clean, tidy and welcoming. It has a lovely bar and breakfast is served every morning for those that have the bed and breakfast package. We also ate of an evening and the setting is lovely.||||This year there were very few English due to Thomas Cook but there was still a friendly atmosphere. Once again, the staff are extremely friendly and kind.||||The hotel is in an ideal position - approximately 7 minute walk to Baga beach but it is off the main road and so it is quiet. We walked everywhere but transport options are plentiful (and cheap).||||The rooms are basic but then we only slept in it and got ready - we were in India for the experience and we didn't want a 4 or 5 star hotel, but then again we didn't pay for one either! It was cleaned on request and we had clean sheets, towels etc. It was clean and tidy and nothing is too much trouble if you need anything at any time. There is a fridge and TV in the room and plenty of sockets. We had a pool view room with air conditioning and a fan - just what we needed. It was our wedding anniversary celebration and Anthony arranged for a bottle of bubbles - very kind.||||Hope to visit again soon. Kim and Simon

At this moment I am at this hotel, only because I had paid half in advance. It’s by far the worst hotel stay I have ever had in Goa. Constructions near by, shabby rooms, congested premise, no facilities, too many food restrictions, and mosquitoes. I gave one star only because that’s the minimum needed to write reviews. I would rather go to nearby Marina, as I had a pleasant stay there last time.

Don't expect great things in this hotel. Even the location. But located near to Baga Beach. But still a good budget hotel to stay if u ignore their services. Carry Mosquito bat when you stay. No bottle water provided.

One of the best resort I have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. The view from my room was relaxing and quite positive 🤩Room service was good, enjoyed balcony particularly with good pool and garden view chilled out. Complete stay was just like home, with some delicious food and some refreshing drinks especially my favourite (Poha) 😋 and some nice milk Shakes, the ambiance is really pretty cool with very helpful staff service, who was at their best.👍 Will be visiting soon here again 😃

The best thing about this hotel is their cafe at the back! It's a small quaint pretty place with the most optimum music you would want while resting and eating your favourite Nutella pancake. Beautifully done is that place's decor too! They have a bar outside beside the pool. The pool is a small but good. The rooms are clean with balconies and nice view. The staff is helpful. It is also situated at a very good place just beside Baga making it accessible to all party places.
