Elvin's Balaji Beach Place

Rating: 1/5 I had an extremely disappointing experience at Elvin's Balaji Beach Place in Calangute, Goa. From the moment I checked in, things went downhill. The receptionist and the owners were incredibly rude and unprofessional. At the time of checkout, they unexpectedly demanded more money, which left me feeling uncomfortable and frustrated. On top of that, the room cleaning was skipped every day, which is simply unacceptable. The overall service was very poor, and I did not feel valued as a guest at all. I would highly recommend exploring other options in the area, as there are plenty of better places around Calangute Beach that offer much better service and hospitality.

It is just near Calangute beach. The rooms were neat. They charged rs 1300/day. The staff were amazing we took the scooty rent from someone who the hotel had a partnership with and they charged 350/day. It was an amazing experience.

Pathetic service. Fraud place. Don't go by photos and images as actual place is horrible. Very bad customer service. We came with a 3 month old baby early morning at 5 am and had booked 2 rooms 3 days prior. We had more 2 children aged 3 and 4. We requested the staff to first handover the keys and let children sleep but staff did not allow to check in and kept us waiting for 40 minutes to complete documentation. We had a small 3 month baby still he did not let us check in.

Stay was good in elvins and staff is very cooperative. Electricity power backup is there which works well during power cut off. They helped us in guiding day plans.

The hotel gave us the Most worst staying experience we ever had. They charged us 1500 Rs. for 1 single room and told to accommodate 4 person in that room. They told that they will provide AC room. But when we entered the AC was totally damaged, the room was very dirty and untidy. The bathroom was also very unhygienic. They even did not cleaned the room. The Linen was unchanged through out our stay. Even after some couple of hours a local person knocked our door and took some of his belongings from the Almirah of our room. Not only that amidst the intolerable hot weather in summer at night we had power cuts several times. The surrounding place is also not felt very safe to us. The staff and reception behaviour was also very rude. In fact there was no staff or receptionist at most of the time😅. Moral of the story:- Don't book this Hotel

Pathetic experience. They don't provide you with the AC controller. It was default with heating mode. The pillows were rottten and it didn't have pillow covers. Room was not clean and it was sticky all the time. No proper blanket was issued. Bad experience. I recommend to use beach to spend your night rather than booking this hotel room.

The hotel stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpful, the location was very convenient for getting around and many activities. If we were to travel to goa again, we would definitely stay hear again! Note, this is not a normal hotel but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality Thankyou Entire team .

Best thing is we got upgraded to a better room but dint find much difference as there was a small fridge and a bigger TV provided. Room was clean and spacious. Toilet was fine. Location is close to the calangute beach and easy accessible. Staff was friendly, Mr Aditya was very welcoming. But I was disappointed with few things like the room wasnt cleaned on the second day. Also on the third day they missed providing us bath towels, for which we had to call them every now and then and fix it. Also the balcony is not so great since the view is not good (another lodging directly in front) Plus the swimming pool is too tiny just for name sake. Overall the place is fine.
