Taj Holiday Village Resort and Spa, Goa

Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa has been a home for me and my family in Goa since years and every time we have a wonderful experience. The staff is so warm and welcoming. The hotel has an option of having breakfast at two places either Holiday Village Resort or Fort Aguada Resort so guests can choose any place to have breakfast. The sundowner cocktails and starters were very good and the sunset looks mesmerising. The restaurant Paper Moon has delicious Italian menu and Andrew suggested me options as per my choices. Even the seafood restaurant Morisco has a lip smacking Goan menu to try out. Caravela restaurant has the beautiful view of the sea and the service given by Vishwanath, Melwin, Roni’s, Shreedhar and Alex was impeccable. Ruati at House of Nomads made lovely tody for me for my cold. Housekeeping staff was very good and helped me keep the room neat and tidy. Bhagyashree went miles to make my stay comfortable and arranged foot soak for me and also steam as I had cold and could get a good sleep after that. Rahul and Veeru from housekeeping are too good in their work and kept the room neat. The front office manager Shilpi and her team were very warm and welcoming. Especially Dheeraj and Saloni were concerned throughout my stay right from my arrival till my checkout. Also Manthan, Josepha and Madhur were very helpful and inspite of busy times they were always ready to help out with a big smile. The concierge services are very prompt and the car they used to make it available soon. Sudesh from concierge was very helpful and prompt. A very big thank you to Derek and Shradha for their concern throughout my stay. They made sure my choices were met. Derek and Taj Holiday Village these two names go together as I call him the brand ambassador of this property. Since decades I have been coming with my parents and Derek has always been there. He is an asset to this property and a great guide for the new comers. Also a big thank you to the General Manager for all his concern. Thank you for the great service amd making my stay memorable and wishing the entire team all the best for a bright future.

This is my sixth consecutive pre Christmas and Pre New Year’s Eve visit to goa on my daughter’s birthday. This time we stayed at Taj Holiday Village Resort and Spa, Goa from 20/12/24 to 24/12/24, my room no. is 2031 booked with breakfast only. The property is very beautiful with very long beach front and private beach side tables which are belongs to only taj guests this is amazing. The property is very clean and maintained. Our checkin was done by Miss. Josefa she has very welcoming face and gesture. We had a very good conversation with her and she is very helpful. The buggy ride was always very amazing during my whole stay my wife daughter son and myself also enjoyed the buggy ride very much. The room is good and location is also very appreciating. The bed size was also good and the extra bed was also very cozy and comfortable and well adjusted in the room. The Buffet Breakfast was very good with very vast verity of choice. The food is very taste and preparation was very neat and clean. Take a breakfast at the beach with lyrical music of ocean waves was mesmerising. The family pool was very good and depth is very good. Greenery everywhere in the resort which is very soothing. Mr. Shridhar and Pankaj.T was very helpful during the breakfast and dinner time. Both of them are very attentive and serving very well. The banyan tree restaurant ambience and outdoor of the restaurant was very good and the food was also very tasty and different my children’s enjoyed the food and ambience alot. There is everywhere Christmas decoration is their which look very fantastic. The guards are very attentive and welcoming face with very disciplined behaviour. There is a very nice walk through around the resort every time in the morning evening & night. Night lighting was very good and attractive. Beach is just few steps from the resort and the water of the ocean is on your foot. The kids area was very small and the staff was not enjoying to engage the children’s. The activities for the children are chargeable last time we stay at Taj Exotica where are the activities are complementary and they very enjoying with the children’s. There is the worst housekeeping experience that I have experienced at Taj Group of hotels. The housekeeping staff is not attentive and also not taking care of our stay. Their was nothing in the room no toiletries everything time I have to call the housekeeping for the things and they always kept us waiting. During my stay the room was cleaned only twice after again and again reminder. I’ll call for the water bottle but for 20 minutes I wait for the water bottle but its not came than I go on walking from my room no.2031 to the parking and start my Scooter and go to the market and buy the water bottle and came back to my room than after 5 minutes housekeeping boy came with the two bottles. The boy who came with the water bottle was not understanding english. The HR department should understand that every guest who are coming at your Taj Hotels are not enjoying speaking english like myself but you are hearing the staff who can either understand english or their language please look into this. When, I first checked In the room immediately I called the 32 no. from my room phone the told them their is a spider web in the room please send someoneto clean it. But unfortunately that spider is still their in the room at the time of my checked out this the quality of housekeeping I experienced. During my entire stay neither any manger or any senior hotel staff came to me and asking about how’s my stay going on as I stay for 5 nights. There is only shower towels on the room bath room no hand towels are their after calling again and again thankfully they give us the day before we checked out. The Shower area at the family pool are un maintained and watery every where their is no towels their no grooming seat is their neither and anyone attending their we have to talk the towels from the pool are and go to shower. The other properties of the taj, leela’s and oberoi’s everything we think that was present their everything means everything. The hospitality and luxury experience was absent throughout the stay after paying that much for the stay. The gym was OK OK. Overall I also enjoyed my vacation at these fantastic properties but this time housekeeping experience sabotaged my luxury vacation. I hope my review will make some Pontic change in the hospitality of housekeeping. |I am looking forward to stay at the property again. Overall the stay was good than you Taj Holiday Village Resort and Spa, Goa.

The name says it all .Aamzing property with breathtaking views . We stayed in a beach facing villa and the room was quite spacious with a backyard facing the sea . The all day dining restaurant caravella offers multicusines with a seating experience next to the sea . We travelled with a toddler and the staff was very friendly and supportive of our requirements . They have a Thai restaurant - The Banyan tree lead by a Thai Chef .They served authentic delicious Thai food. We stayed for 4 days .The best part is if you are bored with the food in Taj holiday , you can have food at Tak fort agora which is just next to it including the complimentary breakfast . Their brewery 7 rivers is also great and right within the property .So you get all the experience right inside the property at the comfort of being close to your room.Must visit property

Great location and the room that I had was one of the best though need some maintenance for sure. Location wise and atmosphere is great. You have direct access to beach and they have their own chairs to relax and enjoy the beach if you opt. I had chaotic & delayed breakfast may be because of vacation schedule, but again staff very helpful. Receptionists are not as friendly as all other staff.

This was an awesome experience. It was a family trip and the christmas Gala dinner was amazing. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Access to the beach is an added experience. Overall a fantastic experience and the staff at the property were amazing

Rooms are okay, not so spacious. Service is very very poor. We booked three rooms, one especially for children but till evening 4'o clock they didn't provide room and we have to cancel one room as they gave far away from each other. Even after a lot of complaints they had no guilt or courtesy.

Beautiful place. Great service. Loved the place. Loved the people! Rooms can be maintained better. Beach has to be cleaned up, it's extremely dirty, we had opted for this property for private beach access, but it was disappointing, the beach is extremely dirty. Taj has to take care of this

Shoutout for exceptional service during our stay We had the most memorable stay at Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa, Goa, and would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful team who made our visit so comfortable and special. This property is exceptionally beautiful and a must visit for experience. This is our 4th visit to this property and we cannot imagine a better stay here in Goa. Clerisa (Guest Relations) - Thank you for going the extra mile to ensure that baby food was always readily available. Traveling with a toddler can be challenging, but your thoughtfulness made our experience so much easier. Sharadha - The personalized decor in our room was a beautiful surprise. Your attention to detail made the room feel so warm and welcoming, and it truly set the tone for our stay. Rahul Kamle (Housekeeping) - We are incredibly grateful for the immaculate setup of our room. The way you paid attention to the smallest details made it clear that you genuinely cared about making us feel at home. Prashant and Shilpi (Front Office) - Your efficiency in room allotment was greatly appreciated, especially considering we were traveling with a toddler. The quick check-in process and care you took to accommodate our needs did not go unnoticed. Sarthak (Fort Aguada, F&B) - Thank you for your warm hospitality at Fort Aguada.
