Hotel Sea Sapphire in Goa is an absolute disaster and doesn’t even deserve one star. Most of the glowing reviews you see online are highly questionable—staff blatantly ask guests to leave five-star reviews as they check out, likely to boost their ratings artificially. Don’t be fooled; this hotel is far from the paradise it pretends to be in its clickbait photos online. The rooms are atrocious—broken sinks, cockroaches crawling around, and a fetid smell that makes staying there unbearable. Some guests have even reported finding cockroaches in their pillows, which is completely unacceptable. The accommodations are far below even mediocre standards, and the photos on their website do not reflect reality. To make matters worse, the hotel is located almost 1.5 km from the nearest beach, making it a terrible choice compared to other hotels in Goa that offer closer and more convenient access to the coast. Their claim of having valet parking is a blatant lie. Despite reaching out to confirm, the valet service was nonexistent during my stay. I was left to park my car myself every single time in their crumbling excuse for a parking area. The so-called parking can barely accommodate four or five cars, creating constant tension with residents in the neighborhood. Frustrated by the chaos, some locals have even put up signs warning that they will deflate the tires of any car parked outside designated areas. Even if you manage to snag a spot in the tiny parking area, turning your car around is nearly impossible due to the lack of space. This place is a prime example of deceitful marketing, a terrible location, and a total lack of hospitality. Save yourself the frustration, discomfort, and health risks—avoid Hotel Sea Sapphire at all costs. There are far better options in Goa that actually deliver on their promises.

One-Star Review for Hotel Sea Sapphire I had an horrendous experience at Hotel Sea Sapphire, and I would strongly advise anyone against staying here. The room we were given was infested with cockroaches, which is utterly unacceptable and unhygienic. To make matters worse, the bed linens and sheets were filthy, with visible stains that clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. The overall condition of the room made it impossible to feel comfortable, let alone safe. When we brought these issues to the attention of the management, their response was appalling. Instead of acknowledging the severity of the problem and taking immediate action, they refused to issue a refund even though we had no choice but to leave the premises. This lack of accountability and unwillingness to resolve such blatant shortcomings is unacceptable for any establishment that claims to provide hospitality services. The experience left us not only disappointed but also out of pocket for a stay we couldn’t use. Hotel Sea Sapphire clearly has no respect for its guests or their basic expectations of cleanliness and service. Save yourself the frustration and discomfort—choose a better hotel. This place should not be in the business of hospitality.

Very poor management and service. I wanted the room for 4 days. They took the booking online. We had the confirmation message and email as well. They only provided the option that "Pay at property". When I called them on the booking date, I showed them the message and email and still they didn't provide the room and said that the room is not available. This creates an unmanageable situation as I was with my family including a 2 year old kid. If they are not keeping room with such options, they should not provide such options as well. This is the worst situation at midnight for tourists.

I recently stayed at Sea Sapphire in Goa and had an amazing experience. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with clean and spacious rooms that offer a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sea. The on-site restaurant served delicious food with a great variety of options. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which had a wide selection of fresh and tasty items.

Very good stay. We loved everything here, be it rooms or service or food in the restaurant. They even helped in proving bikes on rent. Staff seems very helpful in everything.

The hotel is a bit pricey. Will increase the price dynamically in less than an hour which I felt was not ethical. Found small cockroach in the room, Bathroom handle was broken and in front of Room's window there was Garbage disposal because of which the smell was coming into the rooms

Good points. Polite service and management. Cleaned everyday but not that great. Trust worthy, we kept all our luggage open and nothing was tapered. Nice bathroom. Extra services are, AC, Smart Fan, Kettle. Per day cost ₹2500 to ₹2800. Very near to Calangute beach. Bad points No fridge in the room, at this price they should have. They don't allow you to keep anything in their fridge too. Late check-in around 12.30-1pm but early check out around 10.30am, that's too bad. Room size should have been more. They have TV but are very limited broadcasts provided, like 10 or 20 channels that are useless. So very disappointed. The swimming pool is there but not maintained properly. Bathroom shower switches are malfunctioning. No oven or cutlery in the room.
