White Sand

If you're looking for a clean decent room in a quieter area of Mandrem near the beach, look no further! Lovely family owned guesthouse, basic rooms but cosy and very clean, good hot shower and excellent water pressure (not always the case in India :)). There's even a safety box in the room. ||The sea view from the terrace was worth the extra money, it was a wonderful view to wake up to every morning... ||The restaurant is really nice too! PK who runs the place is such a nice smiley guy, he's genuinely concerned about offering the best service to his guests. Food is excellent with lots to choose from. I enjoyed staying (and eating :) at White Sand a lot!

I stayed in The White Sand for a week and had the deluxe room with a gorgeous sea view, watching the sea from your bed was just like a dream. But what I liked most, was the on-site restaurant run by PK. Beautiful setting with relaxed low tables and comfortable cushions to sit on, and extremely nice people, nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious, I took both breakfast and dinner here every day and enjoyed every fresh meal the chefs prepared. Couldn’t recommend a nicer place to eat!

I loved my stay at White Sand so much that I don’t even know where to begin with if I have to give my description of this stay. |I am a woman solo traveler, and I have never felt so safe and so lovingly taken care of as in this cute little nest. The people that run it are simply the best human beings you can encounter: they treat everyone with so much kindness and respect. I stayed for almost a month, and they treated me like a sister or a daughter. Whenever I needed a hand they were there.|The hotel is located in one of the best parts of Mandrem Beach, close to EVERYTHING (from spa to surf school, from taxi stop to supermarket) and it has a private passage leading to the beach. The restaurant at the side is very very VERY good and with a lovely atmosphere. |The rooms are very clean, everything functions very well (hot water, lights, fan, AC) and many have a breathtaking sea view (mine was... mind blowing). I loved my bed and my nice balcony facing the ocean! There is also private parking for scooters.|What can I say more.. I have literally cried when I left, especially because I really got attached to this lovely community and family of hardworking people. |If you are looking for the most comforting, relaxing and loving family atmosphere, the comfiest beds while enjoying the beach of Mandrem, this is the place for you. |Ah and also: they will make you smile everyday with their funny jokes and contagious irony. I simply cannot wait to see them again!!

Just in front of the White Sand Hotel, You will find this super cosy Restaurant. ||||We just stayed at Mandrem Beach for full three month. Almost everyday we visit White Sand Restaurant - I would say it became our favourite choice. PK, the owner, always welcomed us with the biggest smile and happy mood.||||The staf are super friendly and the food is really, really good. You can have traditional Indian food, fresh fish, different european dishes and Tom Yum. I would always go for local food and the Veg Biriyani is outstanding here.

If you want peace, romance and better service, go here! Delicious dishes from natural products, an open kitchen, friendly staff. The owner is uniquely kind and polite, here you feel like at home, tasty, beautiful and magnificent

Lovely rooms, fresh, clean and well designed. Great customer service, very friendly family and good location near to everything you want. The beach is just a couple of minutes walk away and you can see the sea from the balcony.

Hotel is nice and clean. The air conditioning works and the staff are really helpful and friendly. The restaurant attached to it is also great, food and service are brilliant and I love the chilled out vibe it offers
