Hotel Mandarin

Worst hotel and stay I have ever seen, rooms are very bad, washroom is worst and the receptionist (guy) was horrible person, he won't understand the guest situation and he cannot handle the situation at the hotel. And the pictures shown in the website are not same. Overall the worst experience we had at this hotel. I don't recommend anyone to this place. And the price which is there online is lesser than the direct price at the hotel.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in Goa. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean, TV wasn't working. The staff was most unhelpful as customers had to carry their heavy luggages themselves while the staff were sitting and watching the customers carrying the heavy luggages themselves.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I checked in on 23 rd June. On 24 th there was no electricity for 5 hours as the hotel does not have a generator. The same day the lift was not working and became operative after 24 hours. No water on 24th from 4 pm to 11.30 pm as the pump broke down and there was no alternative pump. To top it all no drinking water is provided in the room. The staff was most unhelpful as customers had to carry their heavy luggages themselves while the staff were sitting and watching the customers carrying the heavy luggages themselves.

The room was conjested, there was no ventilation, the windows should have a mosquito net which will provide some air flow in the room. we could not sleep in the night. had to open the window and close it down to avoid mosquitoes.

I could have given 0 star if the option was available. Extremely unhlpful staffs especially Mr. Parvez. Doesn't want to help u on anything. Denied us the breakfast which was in hotels policy when we booked . Arrogant attitude from him . On top of that , TV wasn't working. Shower was there but the water was pouring in a different city i guess . Very poorly maintained room . Bed sheet stains all over . All the good reviews that i can see are either paid reviews or fake reviews . I hope everyone stays away from this pathetic hotel.

I stayed in this hotel from 23rd dec to 25th Dec. I Wouldn't Recommend this hotel to anyone unless if very necessary. There are Sudden power outages with out any proper back we were left in the dark for about an hour and when we tell their staff they say what can we do There is also no restaurant in the hotel so you have to walk a bit for dining they also do not Provide basic water bottles Their staff is also very rude.On the checkout day the checkout time was 10 am my train was at 3:30 in the afternoon so we decided to keep our bags in the hotel instead of taking it outside while keeping the bags I kept my bags at a distance from other guests bags to avoid confusion and mix up despite it one of the staff rudely said that not mix up and when I responded in a form manner he became angry and try to threaten me. Their staff is inco-operative and rude including the lady at the reception.The good reviews are mostly paid or be given from people they know don't get fooled by their reviews. I would not Recommend anybody to stay at this third class and pathetic hotel unless no other options are available and if very necessary.There are many more better options available at the same prices with amenities. It's better to avoid this pathetic hotel and not spoil your Goa vacation.

In a week this is our third hotel, I would say - AWESOME Experience. Room were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend Hotel Mandarin, Mapusa for anyone visiting downtown Mapusa, Goa. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there, I had a wonderful experience at hotel Mandarin. Every staff member I encountered, from the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my friends and colleagues! -Taher Hussain
