I had gala time staying at meraki. Rooms are super spacious and perfectly designed and gives you the comfort of home. I stayed with my parents and the staff took care of each our needs. The owner is super sweet who allowed us early check in and late check out at no extra cost. When in Goa will always stay here.

Please don't be misled by the positive reviews—my experience was far from satisfactory. We had booked 3 rooms for a 2-day stay in North Goa. While the rooms do match the photos shown on the app, they have a musty smell. There is no proper parking facility, so if you're traveling with your own vehicle, you might want to reconsider staying here. The most disappointing part, however, was their payment policy. They do not accept card payments, and they expect guests to somehow be aware of this in advance. Rather than informing us upfront, they placed the blame on us for not asking during booking. To make matters worse, they shamelessly charged an additional 2% on the total amount for UPI payments, which was never mentioned beforehand.

I genuinely don’t know where to begin—The Me Ra Kee House completely blew me away. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness that it instantly felt like home. The owner, a truly wonderful woman, is one of the kindest and most genuine people I’ve ever met. She made sure everything was perfect and went out of her way to make us feel not just like guests, but like family. The receptionist was equally incredible. Super respectful, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. You could tell he really knew how to take care of people—he handled every request with ease and never once made us feel like we were asking too much. Now coming to the space itself—wow. The rooms were spotless and incredibly spacious, with such a calming, airy feel. The bathroom was clean and aesthetic (yes, that matters!), and the lighting in the room was just perfect —especially the soft glow behind the mirror that added such a cozy vibe. Even the cupboards were spacious, which was a relief because we had a lot of stuff. What truly impressed me was how helpful the receptionist was—anything we needed, he arranged for us without a second thought. From toiletries to local suggestions to helping us rent a scooty and a car—both of which were in almost brand-new condition—he made sure everything went smoothly. While the hotel itself doesn’t offer in-house food service, we didn’t feel the lack of it at all because the Himalayan Café right next door was simply amazing. The food was delicious, fresh, and the atmosphere was just as lovely. The location of *The Me Ra Kee House* is another huge plus. It’s situated in a convenient area where you have liquor shops, cafes, food joints, and everything else you could possibly need, all within walking distance. It made our stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free. This was my very first visit to Goa, and because of this place, it became something I’ll remember forever. I can say with absolute certainty that whenever I return to Goa, I’m not even going to look for another place—I’m going straight back to The Me Ra Kee House. The care, the kindness, the attention to detail… everything was just perfect. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat. Thank you to the amazing owner and the super helpful receptionist for making our stay so beautiful. You both made Goa feel like home.

Stay away from this hotel. We were travelling with family and friends, and kids and the unprofessional behaviour of the staff and owner is unacceptable and unforgettable. My SIM card stopped working the moment I landed in Goa, so my upi was not working and they do NOT accept cards. So we were in the middle of the night standing there trying to somehow get a room and rest. Somehow my friend got his upi, but he only had half of the money, so we payed that with the promise that once I get my upi working, I pay the rest. The next morning we were basically held hostage, not allowed to leave without paying. How was I supposed to pay for it without going to the airtel store and getting a replacement SIM card? No compassion or understanding from the staff or the owner lady. Finally I got my sim working and paid the money. The moment I paid the Monday, the whole scenario changed to a new one. Now at the time of booking, we agreed for a total stay of 4 days with payment in advance. After 3 days the staff and owner asked us to either vacate or pay for one more day. This is with some weird math and trying to justify getting more money out of us. The guy at the reception was being really threatening about it, despite us trying to explain that we have already agreed and payed already for the stay. We finally left to stay at a nearby hostel, because with family and kids with us, we did not want to risk our safety. If you have read this, stay away. The rooms are below average, there is no running hot water, the wifi does not work, and the rooms smell weird.

I had wonderful experience. I went with my group of 14 pax and we all had a gala time. Super comfortable rooms and the staff was so kind and cooperative. Perfect place for everyone. Will be coming back again!

The owner is very rude and don't talk properly . The service is very slow and the servants are not present when needed at night and but the staff is good and polite .
