I recently had the pleasure of staying with my wife at Hotel Papa Jolly Eco Resort in Morjim during the first week of April'24, and it was an unforgettable experience. Firstly, the property itself is impressive. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment to unwind after a day of exploring. The lush greenery surrounding the resort adds to the serene ambiance, and the swimming pool is a delightful spot to cool off and enjoy the sunny weather. While the prices at the restaurant may be slightly on the higher side, the quality of the food certainly justifies it. Plus, the convenience of having other dining options, bike rentals, and a departmental store within walking distance adds to the overall convenience of the location. One minor drawback is the lack of mobile network coverage within the hotel premises. However, the proactive and attentive staff quickly remedied this issue by installing a high-speed WiFi extender, ensuring seamless connectivity throughout our stay. Speaking of the staff, I must commend them for their exceptional service. From arranging daily bike rentals in excellent condition to negotiating a reasonable price for airport drop-offs, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Overall, my experience at Hotel Papa Jolly Eco Resort was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of comfortable accommodation, beautiful surroundings, delicious food, and outstanding service made it a memorable stay. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway in Morjim.

I booked in October a room in papa yollys for end of December. 3 days before I called them because I already had no good feeling . I asked if the room is confirmed. They told me that my booking is long time ago and now there’s high season and they have to change 10000 Rs / night. Of course I didn’t take the room because this is cheating. Why should I book online in advance when I don’t get the price I booked it for?

Our group of friends and families recently had a profoundly disappointing experience at Papa Jolly Eco Resort. We had booked through Goibibo, and the full payment was already made. However, upon our arrival, the reserved rooms were mysteriously unavailable. To make matters worse, the manager, who displayed both arrogance and rudeness, unilaterally canceled our booking without any prior notice. Shockingly, he admitted that he did so because he received a better offer from someone else. Attempts to reason with the manager proved futile, as he made it clear that his interests took precedence over our confirmed reservation. This lack of professionalism and customer consideration left us utterly dismayed, especially when traveling with young children. In light of this experience, I strongly advise against choosing this property. The blatant disregard for confirmed reservations and the manager's unapologetic attitude make it clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority. Potential guests should be cautious, as our encounter with this establishment was far from the smooth and stress-free stay we anticipated. Choose wisely and consider alternatives where commitment and customer service are valued.

Been here for 5 days now and every day has new lows. Come with zero expectations and you will still be disappointed. The rooms are big and location good and that is all that is positive. Rooms barely maintained, the staff you need to hunt for if you can identify them cause all in casual attire. Room service can be had if the phone works, mine does not and not fixed 5 days into the stay. Not Food available till 9 am not even tea till their lordships open the kitchen. Breakfast is rudimentary at best non existent at worst. Pool is nice when the filtration system works. Room cleaning is a privilege and you should be thankful if you get it. If at all you are planing to come here to destress be warned this place may push you over the edge into therapy for certain.

This resort has hotel rooms, pool and garden suites and chalets. We stayed for two weeks in a garden suite - a large room, big bathroom, and a lovely huge terrace from where a few steps led through the garden down to the pool. |The room was very comfortable with a nice bed, a beautiful carved and painted old wardrobe, a sofa, refrigerator, TV, kettle, but no safe. Unfortunately some of furniture was chipped. The bathroom was quite modern with a good shower, two washbasins and extra storage space, but the ceiling showed signs of water damage. We loved the large terrace, a great place to sip our morning coffee, sit and read, or nip down to the pool for a swim. |The pool had sun loungers and pool towels were available. At first the pool wasn't that clean, but after several complaints they got their act together and cleaned it up - after that it was very nice. |Our rate included breakfast. There was a limited menu, and you could choose two items plus a hot drink. Juice had to be paid for as an extra. And they didn't open the the kitchen before 9am! Our breakfast waiter was quite switched on, but the rest of the serving staff were useless. On the positive side, breakfast could be taken in the restaurants or in the garden. |The hotel is located on the main road, so there is some street noise during the day, but as a bonus there a several restaurants nearby. Just as well, as we didn't rate the restaurant very highly for meals. The beach is 6-8 minutes walk away, mostly along a footpath. |The hotel has recently changed hands. The manager, Mr. Gupta, was helpful and amenable, and assured us that several improvements are planned, so in future this could be a little gem.

Cheaters... would've given 0 ratings if there was an option. We went with our family, including young children. We had made prior bookings through Goibibo, and the full payment had already been made. However, upon our arrival, the rooms were not available. The arrogant and rude manager canceled our booking without informing us, as he received a better offer from someone else. Initially, we tried to argue, but in the end, he even admitted that he would do as he pleased.
