Hotel Sona Royale

One of the worst hotel to stay in full goa costs 3000 per head...I had to stay as I thought it's nearby the church and casino...it's near to even market...but it's so dam unclean , unhygienic doesn't even worth 300 and the person on counter threathns u...so much and looks at a bad way at girls...His name is Mahesh....he is a very bad perossn....a thief be aware...can con u and steal everything......even for dental kit and basic soap they ask money ...nothing is given by hotel not even a clean towel....Avoid this place of u go to Goa...Mahesh threathnes me to give back my adhar card ...asked me to pay 200 for extra towel...below I have posted video ...look how she abuses and says...Jo karna kar le Mae hu Mahesh.. although the morning manager Mr Santosh was very polite and helpful...onli positive from that hotel...Mr Santosh..

Only good thing about this hotel is it's location. It's right by the river, near the cruise casino, and in the market. So everything is available at walking distance. The panjim bus stand is also at walking distance. Now regarding the room, hot water was available for the shower. But the bathroom was very stinky. The cupboard provided was in bad condition. Grills of the AC were broken. Service was ok. They don't have kitchen or restaurant but several good eateries are just nearby so that's not much an issue.

It is an absolutely pathetic place to stay in. Me and my girlfriend had to board bus from Panjim and had to stay at a hotel for a day and wanted to stay near to the bus stand. Checked into this hotel as it was very hot outside and we did not want to walk a lot. The place was under some kind of renovation and the when asked about the same the VERY RUDE sounding person said it's just the front area and nothing to be worried about. He took 2900 from me for a single AC room which was absolutely unhygienic and like some third class chappdi place, I would not have stayed there for 1000, but since the person already took the money, we had to stay till the evening...Please don't stay in this hell hole. Definitely not a place for a family or decent people to stay.

Hotel Sona Roya is an absolute disaster. The rooms are a breeding ground for cockroaches, the bathroom is a leaky mess, and the towels resemble something out of a horror film. Opting for breakfast is a joke since they don't even have a proper kitchen. The ancient AC sounds like a malfunctioning tractor, and the hygiene standards for bed sheets and comforters are non-existent. Save yourself the agony and steer clear of this dump.

Half km to bus station/casinos/cruises. Overall ok stay, as hardly we were in hotel in 2days booking. We used rooms only for sleep due to other activities in our trip.

"Disappointing stay at this hotel. I was charged a higher rate for a night, and the room was uncomfortable and unhygienic. When I called for assistance, there was only one staff member who seemed unresponsive to my concerns. Overall, a subpar experience that needs improvement."

Dont book thus hotel .. it so pathetic also not proper facilities in hotel . A/c is old and not proper working. Hot water not supply room no 101 /102. A Agar kisiko achhese stay karna hoga to dont book this Sona royale hotel. Same room charges me aapko dusare jagah lavish and luxurious rooms milenge... my suggestion is Greek hotel is best.. kyoki maine rooms change karke vahape shift kiya hai...
