The Fern Residency, Miramar, Goa

Location is very convenient to go to the beach, Dona Paula etc. But approach road is very bad. Rooms are comfortable spacious, reasonably clean. Toilets are good, except for a peculiar smell. Room service, reception are good, helpful. BUT when check out they may simply try to take extra money from you saying the bath linen are damaged, even though there may be some stain. The night duty reception staff may simply try to take you for a ride. Room rent over priced, not justified. Restaurant is good. Most staff are good.

I recently enjoyed an excellent stay at The Fern Residency Miramar, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The food was delightful, offering a variety of delicious options that made for a wonderful dining experience. The service staff was incredibly helpful, with the front office team going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. They were attentive and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. Additionally, the housekeeping services were outstanding. Our rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, which added to our overall comfort. Really disappointed with the class of services provided under the Brand name… we are paying 6000 per night but the facilities are like 600 per night hotel. No pressure on the shower or tap, no hot water, and reception is so busy, for every call he promises to get back but never turns out. We are going to stay 2 more nights here since we have paid in advance, only god knows what we are going to see next😡

We booked 5 rooms. Checkin time being 2PM but got rooms at 4PM. Room provided was not cleaned No house keeping done. Rooms keys not working. Had hard time. Staff not responsive. Even for water bottle had to call 3-4 times. But good thing was rooms were good. But service was pathetic. Seems staff was low. Restaurant food not good and its overally priced.

All the staff at front desk was very helpful. From the time of booking till checkout, all the things were taken care of. My special request for room decoration was top notch. Housekeeping staff is very prompt. They did a very good decoration . Management shall appriciate their good work.

If you are a traveller without your own vehicle then this location is hell... no connectivity with local transport... is in the interiors, wrongly mentioned as OFF Marine drive , its misleading. I am stuck with a wrong choice i made.. no decent eateries in vicinity. Misleading advt.. its not MIRAMAR , ITS NOT OFF MARINE DRIVE as mentioned. Its just a trap

The hotel lacks basic facilities that we expect from this kind of property at this price point. There is no dedicated Parking of Hotel, you have to Park your car on Road. Rooms are too small, there is no full size mirror available in room, no hair dryer in Bathroom. Very poor basic service. While checking out, at the counter I asked for some water to drink to which they replied "Will you pay by cash or Online". Worst experience ever in any Fern Hotel Chain

Very basic hotel, with poor service. Also location is not that good. There was no hot water in the bathroom, tea kettle was not working. Rooms were compact. Breakfast options were also limited and taste was just ok.i was expecting better stay experience with the fern.
