OYO 2440 Palm Grove

The place was serene and beautiful but the services provided were not that pleasing. The room was huge but it was not cleaned properly. Dust accumulation especially near the upper window and the area surrounding it. The food was horrible. I ordered squid semolina fried and biryani but chicken crispy was a nice dish. Breakfast options were very limited and okay-ish. Staff service was ok. We did not check the functionality of WiFi but the TV service was unavailable. The pool was another attracting thing about that place. Pricing not worth the services provided!

This is a budget resort on a small property and very cheap so go there with an open mind! My room cost Rs 1000/- per night. |Clean sheets, very clean attached bathroom- but no cupboard, no pegs, no shelves to keep your toiletries in the bathroom and no toilet paper (so of course no toilet roll dispenser either). I had to keep the roll I always carry while travelling, on the floor! ||There is air conditioning and a TV with 10 unwatchable channels but you're not in Goa to channel surf. If you ask nicely, the staff will bring you a bucket filled with hot water from the solar heater, and delivered from the back door which opens into your private portico. ||While the place is basic, the staff is exceptional. I didn't dare venture into the small swimming pool which is elevated and wet rickety steps need to be climbed. Didn't see any filtration plant. ||You can hire a private cab to get to nearby places of interest (1,500/- a day, self-driven) like Vagator, Baga, Calangute beaches, where all the action is. ||Since all we had was breakfast (omelettes and toast and very good tea),don't know about the seafood which everyone likes and served in their restaurant approachable directly from the road. ||I would definitely go back to this place, the owner made me feel so much at home, and it's a nice stop gap home. ||||

Hello, i stayed in this Guest house for 4 days booked through OYO rooms. We had booked 3 rooms for 3 family. This guest house has around 22 rooms available. All the rooms are not similar in size. Initially we got 2 rooms of ok size and one small size. I requested Sunny (Hotel Manager) for change in the room and after few hours it was done. The second room which i got was of bigger size. So, i am not sure how rooms get allocated here (may be first come first serve) but it would be better if customers could choose the rooms as they are of different sizes. The service of the resort is good. Thanks to Sunny for agreeing for exchanging of rooms. There is Solar for all the rooms, the water was not so hot so we had to go get hot water manually outside the room which was little uncomfortable. The neatness of the rooms were OK. All rooms have AC but it is very old model whose AC door was missing. We had complimentary breakfast, which was not so good as we had to choose from a small list of food items. We had paid 13k per family for 4 days which i felt was not so worth. Its near to Vagator beach which is very peaceful and distance of beach is 1.3 km. The vehicle parking is opposite to resort. Resort had free WIFI but it is not accessible through rooms and you would need to come to entrance to access it.

Nice place to stay for vacation, but bit outside from main beaches like Baga and Calangute. Pleasant area with medium level swimming pool on roof top, covered with coconut trees, 24hrs hot water, spacious rooms(some rooms are small for the same price). Need to travel quite distance to reach the city and prime locations.

Had one of the worst experiences in Goa.|Booked this hotel via OYO rooms. Initially, they allotted us a very untidy room. There were seepages, and the bed sheets were stained. The room was very small and had been closed since a long time. After repeated requests to oyo, they provided us a better room. But, still it was not similar to the images that they provide in their advertisements. Power back up was accessible only when we complain. The swimming pool was stinking. The hotel staffs were not supportive. Food is the Only thing that was good.

Ratingis about the restaurant. The food actually smelled good, but it was the tiniest crab i have ever seen on a plate. Not enough meat to feed a newborn kitten. And the shell so hard it was impossible to get to even that little. I wonder how the dare to serve this to a customer.

This place is a little bit distance from the Vagator beach and in a quite place. The food specially the sea food is very tasty. The quality and quantity of the food is very good. Specially fish curry thali is very tasty.

Stayed for 4 days with friends. Was dissatisfied with the room quality and amenities but the very helpful staff made it a happy stay. Special thanks to Sunny. ||Very nice restaurant and food. Loved the King fish fry.
