The Square Somnath

I stayed on 5th dec and I was satisfied with the stay. The staff could have been a bit better. I found them a bit rude. But that’s just a personal opinion. Rooms were decent and washrooms were clean. Location is good. Morning breakfast was decent. Only issue was it was overpriced for the kind of hotel it is. I paid over 5k for overnight stay for 2 rooms which was revised to 7k for next full day stay which is when I switched the hotel. But overall decent hotel, good location.

The rooms were neat and clean. The surroundings of the room was gorgeous. The ambiance of the hotel as well as room was outstanding. Simply wow. The staffs and the service provided was quick and good. The food of the restaurant was not so good.

A very nice stay we had here. Rooms are very good, enough space and accessories available. We needed one extra bedding they arranged it. Food is good. Only veg. Good view from room.

One of the best places to stay in the marvelous city of somnath. The Square Somnath is located near the highway next to all the rest hotels. The hotel is a bit far from the temple but there are rickshaws everywhere in the area. We stayed for 2 nights during October 2024 and it was a very pleasant experience. They have a good vegetarian restaurant and the food was decent. The included breakfast option gives u a choice of ordering anything from the breakfast section of the menu , there is no buffet system. The rooms were very spacious and well maintained, it was quite of the luxury. From the room's window the Somnath temple is visible clearly. The room service was also very great. Will definitely recommend 💯

Service was good. the room was a bit cramped, but manageable. Shower was not turning off. Food was good, but didn't have too much taste. Overall pretty good experience

We recently had visited Somnath and Dwarka for a nice and religious trip. We stayed at THE FERN hotel at Dwarka, where we had the best experience but at Somnath in the Somnath Square , we did not enjoy . First of all, after a day visiting temples we cane back to our rooms, and were greeted by cockroaches. We never expected it, and the bathroom shower was also not working also, the touch light at bathroom was also broken. We called for a HIT for the cockroaches but they came with a water sprinkler and a broom . When we asked about why there are cockroaches in the room one of the staff members said that the cockroaches are in every room freely,without a care in the world . Please do not book this hotel

First of all, let me talk about the hotel room. We booked a family suite and we were bowled over by the cleanliness, modern fittings and the upkeep of the place. Given Somnath is not a big city and is neither known for it's posh hotels, this unit is a rare find. In fact, what made the deal sweater (metaphorically) was the complimentary breakfast. Initially, I had my opinions reserved as this was not going to be your run of the mill breakfast buffet, they offer you a la carte option under their morning breakfast & South Indian dishes (unlimited order). If they had us in their rooms, they won us all over again with their parathas, chole bhature and the must order puri bhaji. As if it wasn't enough of a dream run, the receptionists: Mr Chauhan, the Night Manager and Mr Sahil, the Day Manager, both of them are such excellent gentleman that it just added to the quality of stay! All in all, we had a great time full of lovely memories that we are in a major part thankful to The Square Somnath! Jai Somnath!
