The Grand Bhagwati

Good hotel but showing signs of age and need maintenance to continue to qualify as a good five star facility. Modded walls and ceilings paint pealing off and rust on metal handles and bars all suggest the struggle of keeping the facility alive. Heard it is being taken over by another hotel groups or something may be that explains. Breakfast was average nothing fancy. The servers were struggling and either not aware how to address guest queries and or were just not showing up etc.

It is an excellent place for those visiting Surat away from the hustle bustle of the city close to the beach. Excellent connectivity to Airport or if you're travelling by road. The hotel is being acquired under the Le Meridian franchise and has 3 floors of banquet space followed by 170 + luxurious rooms Boasts of private world-class theatre, SPA, gym & swimming pool. The food is just awesome, yummy, and delicious. The staff is courteous and warm. A perfect getaway for weekend travellers and a business hotel during weekdays.

Beautiful hotel . Rooms had all possible facilities. The only problem here is the entry exit points of the hotel are a bit complicated otherwise we had a good experience here.

The Grand Bhagwati It is the only 5 star hotel nearest the Surat Airport. The Grand Bhagwati is Excellent hotel with excellent staff....... The Grand Bhagwati Hotels The food was overall good and the breakfast was also good. Even to visit this hotel The Grand Bhagwati restaurant for an evening dinner is a pleasure because of its ambiance and tasty food!!!!!!!!!!! There was a lot of traffic in The Grand Bhagwati , we got to know from the counter that the hotel belonged to a foreign study center. And there was some inconvenience to the guests as water was falling from some places during monsoon.

Basically it was vegetarian five star hotel for people many years ago and the it keeps changing manegement But food always good as I have attended family party or conference lunch

I have visited The Grand Bhagwati hundreds of time...for different occasions and BNI meetings too. Place has very good vibes and food. I like it's halls for functions. Good heights. Staff is courteous always. Pure vegetarian five star hotel which is rare.
