Regenta Inn Vadodara

This is definitely not a 4star or even 3star hotel rating agency to evaluate hotel ratings. No bottled water, no shower gel, shampoo, leaking water pipes and other items given only after you call room service. The only good thing was staff was very good and well behaved. But zero rating for higher management and owners of the hotel

Dirty rooms, arrogant staff, no amenities, avg food. Forget 4 stars. This is just a 2 star hotel. We booked this hotel looking at good reviews. We regret it now. Looks like it "was" a good hotel years ago (and hence several good reviews), but it's a pathetic place now. • The furniture is old and worn out . • Rooms are dirty and dusty • Lobby, lift, and common areas are shabby. Not maintained for years • Restaurant and nearby area badly stinks. • They don't even provide bottled water , soap, and shampoo unless we ask for it , which even basic hotels provide. • The flush was not working. • There was no hot water in the bathroom. The mechanic rudely and arrogantly tried to convince us that the lukewarm water was indeed hot. We requested a bucket of hot water. The arrogant housekeeping guy questioned us, " Where will I get it from ?? " Upon requesting him to get it from the restaurant, he asked us only to talk to the restaurant folks. • Receptionist didn't bother to do anything

Location : it is inside the local bus stand of vadodara. But rooms are very very unhygienic. We booked 5 rooms there and the condition was same in all the rooms. Bathrooms were dirty. Toiletries on demand only. Breakfast experience was also not at all good. More than 50 % items from menu were not there ( there were hardly 8 to 10 person having breakfast) throughout. Overall it was very bad experience

Cons- Shabby rooms and lobby, old property, old furniture. Lot of dust everywhere. Not worth 3k per night. Shares the building with a bus stand and a lot of other businesses. Be ready for noise coming from honky state run busses. Stinky and dusty common areas. Overall the place doesn’t give a good feeling. They don’t check before lending the room, exhaust didn’t work for us. Broken taps and flush button. Expect more such issues as the property gets older. Pros- Good location Quick service.

Not a recommended hotel. Hotel rooms are old and shabby. Bathroom had leaking and non-functional taps. A superior room had a non-functional main water tap and only one overhead shower available. The only plus point of this hotel is location - Very close to Railway and Central Bus station

One of the worst Regenta stay ever. This hotel is located just above the centeral busstop Vadodara.. and rhat is the biggest drawback of this hotel. Rooms are very unhiginic .. hotel have 50 rooms at single floor and it gives very horrible vibes. Bathroom was not cleaned properly. In breakfast they serve boiled egg.. but when asked for omlet.. they denied.. it is quite funny. I don't suggest to stay here.

Worst Service Ever. Rooms are small and tacky. Bus depo location, staff is confused. Not hood breakfast. Every day regretting for booking this hotel. They couldn’t able to provide me iron during my entire stay. In such a huge hotel they have 2 irons only. Pls choose carefully.

Not going to book this hotel ever in future. The complete management is changed and the focus is just about making money and offering less to the guests. They have even stopped giving packaged water bottles to customer that even cheaper hotels provide. The meal package is of no use, I would rather go out or order on swiggy. The Rooms are filled with dust particles, AC outlets in rooms have thick layers of fine dust which shows how often cleaning is done. After paying 3k per night I was given a room which was stinking as if it has been not cleaned for months, bathroom has was broken and most things needed maintenance. Upon asking, receptionist said we don't have any other vacant room left. But after complaining I got 3 rooms to choose from, shows that how they want to sell the worst rooms after taking full money. Never ever coming back here. A shame to the Orchid chain of hotels
