Hotel Alpha, Vadodara

I booked hotel alpha through Cleartrip by paying entire amount. I also called hotel for confirmation. When I reached hotel with my wife and they denied checkin even after I showed my booking confirmation. I requested them to check again, but staff behaviour was really inhuman. Ultimately u had to leave the hotel at night around 10 pm.I and my wife had to roam on streets literally to find a place. It was such a horrific experience and it’s because these hotel alpha people has given booking at higher price to others as rush was higher that day. I request people not to book ticket his hotel if u want to be safe and not roam on road at midnight. I also request booking sites to block this hotel from taking any booking else customer will face the trauma that I faced. Rest it’s upto u guys. In the reply below, hotel alpha is lying.. got a call from clear trip and they are saying that hotel alpha informed Cleartrip team that on 28 dec 24, there was some technical issue . That’s why they didn’t receive booking. In hotel, receptionist told me that they haven’t taken any booking for last 7 yrs. It’s all lies . I request to black list this hotel.

The only good thing about this hotel is location, which is next to vadodara railway station. But, you cant even get a good sleep due to 24*7 noise of railways. The rooms are clean but conjusted. There are mosquitos in the rooms. Pillows were torn with cotton coming out of it. Bathroom tiles were broken and there was no hot water in the bathroom which was totally unexpected. Though they provide 24 hrs checkout at reasonable price, it is not a recommendable hotel for family. It is the place for solo budget travellers.

The rooms at this hotel are very clean, reasonably priced, and spacious. This hotel is very good value for money. It is within a 2 minute walking distance to the Vadodara Railway Station as well as the Kadak Bazaar, which provides all amenities. The staff are very professional and attentive, and they are very prompt with the room service. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very nice.The rooms are clean and hygienic .The food in hotel is also nice.It is located in the centre of all tourist places and the market is also nearby.Great service.Would recommend it to new visitors.The staff is very welcoming.

This place is an absolute sham. All the good reviews here are either paid or by their inner circle.||The list is an absolutely endless one -||1. Absolute rude, arrogant, and disrespectful reception, staff and the entire team||2. No basic things provided in the room - no water, no towels, no toiletries||3. Untidy and Dirty rooms - if you complain to them about it, they will say this is how it is, and you can leave if you wish to||4. I paid for the early check-in and they expect me to leave the next day at the same time and not the regular checkout time or they will charge you for that - tell me one hotel that has such absurd pricing policy. If a customer is paying for early checkin and has already paid for the regular day stay, how can you ask the customer to leave as per the time of early-checkin||5. No courtesy to offer any help to senior citizens who had luggage accompanying with them||Please save yourself and NEVER EVER even think of staying there. You can stay happily on the roads of Vadodra but never in this hotel.

As mentioned by a few others on here, the striking fog horn from the trains nearby completely obliterate any kind of good quality relaxation in the hotel. "Surely that's only during the day time?", I hear you ask... Incorrect. These run throughout the day, well into the early hours of the morning; so unless you have earplugs you're screwed. ||||To be fair, there were a couple of staff members who were really friendly and helpful, which did appease a certain element of eerie silence there when the train noises couldn't be heard.||||As for the rooms. Well, my room was clean in all fairness. However, their interpretation of 'AC' is two rickety fans that ensure that you're not actually cool while you stay there. There is a distinctly muggy sewage smell in the bathroom - which is ridiculously designed might I add. ||||Overall, I felt that for roughly £10 per night, I wasn't getting any value for money as many of the cheaper hostels that I've stayed in previously were far more hospitable.

It was all over good experience about room, services and location...rooms were clean ani service was on time. They do not have kitchen ao they order from different hotel. As per my experience food was satisfactory. You can go outside for the food.
