Grand Mercure Vadodara Surya Palace

We hosted my daughter’s wedding at the Grand Mercure Ballroom at the Surya Palace in Vadodara. ||Guests and all of us had an amazing time. Service, Decor and food were of the highest quality. Authentic food taste for all the different cuisines we had won’t different meals. Serving staff was friendly and in particular live counter servers were doing nice job of attending to the guests. ||Highly recommend this venue as a one stop shop for event. You will get the right advice and all the support you will need to ensure that your function goes through as per your expectations. Animesh, our account manager was there at the every stage to guide and ensure that everything went smoothly. ||Extremely happy with the end to end experience!

We arrived at this hotel for a 3 night trip. We were welcomed by a friendly reception staff. Check in was fast and a refreshing detox drink was provided which was welcomed.||The room was spacious and very clean. Our housekeeper Nilesh Joshi did a great job - Thankyou.||Although we did not use the swimming pool, it looked very clean. There were only two sun-loungers though! ||Breakfast is served between 7-10am. The restaurant staff were very attentive and hospitable. Thankyou to Pradeep, Deepak and Rajaran.||The Reception staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They were always happy to help. The service was outstanding, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure every need was met promptly and courteously. From the seamless check-in process to the attentive support throughout my stay, the hospitality was truly top-notch.The room service deserves a special mention. The housekeeping team @Yogesh did a fantastic job of ensuring the rooms remained spotless and comfortable throughout the stay.

Stayed for a wedding. Not the nicest Accor hotel but overall solid. Service has been helpful. Rooms are decent but with closer look not all clean. One outlet wasn’t functioning. Check-in was a little chaotic. Still, overall a good experience and would consider staying again.

The hotel is a bit outdated. The rooms are in need of renovation but are clean and have a very friendly staff. The best guy is the trainer Nilesh. a very nice and helpful person and a very good trainer had very good tips. Had the opportunity to train with him and he even straightened my back and gave very good tips for stretching exercises.|the food and breakfast is also recommended.

I stayed at the Mercure Surya Palace for 4 days and I am surely not going to repeat my experience. - Rooms are not soundproof, lots of noise, cherry on top : lots of weddings happening and loud music is played without any consideration for the other guests staying in the hotel - During night time, loud noises coming from some work or cleaning from the level above (midnight), takes some time for the staff to take action (20min) - rooms are not cleaned properly and some amenities are missing when comparing to other rooms - overall the lobby and the common areas need a refreshment for sure The food was good overall, the hotel needs to level up on the quality of teas, coffees, restaurant and breakfast staff are nice but they need training for this type of hotel. I would place this hotel between a 3 and 4 star only.

Grand Mercure Vadodara Surya Palace offers a perfect blend of luxury and comfort with a traditional touch! The reception area has a traditional flavour and is a visual delight. The staff is courteous and serves with a smile. Apart from food the hotel's culture & style in serving food makes an experience worth remembering. I have been a loyal guest at your hotel since 2019, and it has always been my preferred choice whenever I am in Vadodara. However, during my most recent stay, I experienced an issue that I believe needs your attention. I had arranged for airport pickup, as I was traveling with a colleague. Unfortunately, upon our arrival, there was no one at the airport to receive us. Despite several follow-up calls made by my Vadodara office, the hotel was unable to arrange transportation for us for over an hour. This was particularly disappointing as it only takes around 15 minutes to drive across Vadodara, and we eventually had to take a local taxi. Given my positive history with the hotel, this experience was unexpected and below the usual standard of service I’ve come to appreciate. I hope you can address this issue to ensure better service continuity in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
