Hotel Damodar

Absolute horror. Pros: The photos sent at the time of booking was same, no issues with that. Only positive... Cons: It is in a building where at downstairs it is mention to close the gate when coming and going out. Reception at third floor, not sure what are on first and second. Room cleaning was happening at 3 PM, when asked to get the luggage from downstairs, was told the same cleaning guy will bring the luggage after 5 mins or so. Honestly speaking, felt like haunted place, so left immediately even after paying an advance as well. Not refunded obviously. Stayed just for 5 mins and left, didn't had the courage to bring family upstairs. Don't know whether other reviews are paid or not, guess yourself. Will definitely not recommend staying alone, let alone with family. Save yourself....

We have been there for a day with family and the it's for real the best room service across the Veraval. Rooms were very neat and clean, the room services were very good and staffs were very polite and helpful. We have celebrated birthday and they really helped us in arranging everything for a surprise. The amenities were also provided by the hotel. We enjoyed a lot our time there, must visit

Satisfied with the quality and condition of the room.Service and behaviour of Dev, Hiren and Dhyey is satisfactory. Food is very tasty. Arrangement of rental car service and their guidance is also appreciable. Thank you all and wish you all the very best👍

It’s rightly said that better late than never so here I am with my review of this wonderful Hotel in Somnath. I was planning trip to Somnath in March 2024 and after much research I booked 2 super deluxe suit. I lit was a great pleasure of staying at this charming place and it exceeded all of my expectations. From the warm and welcoming staff to the clean and comfortable rooms, every aspect of my stay was top-notch. The place was absolutely stunning—a true haven that felt like a luxurious retreat for us. My family loved this perfect staycation. Mr. Hardik the Hotel Owner arranged my local tour in Somnath and also trip to Gir National Park. He is a gem of person very helpful and charming person keeps smiling and always ready to help. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a tranquil and rejuvenating stay. Thank you Mr. Hardik for a memorable experience!

One of the Best Hotel I have come across in a Really Long Time. The Owner - Hardik Bhai was really cooperative of my special request of giving me a Late Checkout as we had a train late at night at a very minimal cost. Then Dev Bhai - Who Manages the Cab Services for the Hotel Guests gave us really good suggestions on how we could cover Maximum Places around Veraval on our 5 Day Trip. He Designed our Tour Program Really Well. Hirendra Bhai - Our Cab Driver - He was a really great guy. He drove the car really good and told us all the stories behind some of the temples and became our personal tour guide for Somnath and Diu Trips. Then Last One was Irfan Bhai - He was on the reception for the Night Shift. He served us really good tea at 5 AM. Very Polite and Helped us out with our Early Morning Room Service.

Good Budget Hotel. Located slightly inside from the main road. The Somnath Jyotirlinga Mandir is 8/10mins driving distance from the Hotel. No dedicated parking, you have to park it on the Gullly outside the Hotel. Big Market on the main Road. Small Lift. Rooms are nice. Some are big and some are small. Toilets are clean,but in some rooms its too small. AC works effectively. TV's are working and available in every room. Service is very good by the staff and owner.

Overall had a good stay , initially they charged me 500 bucks for early checkin and the rooms were also not clean may be due to early checkin staff was not made the room ready, i was also in a hurry so not asked them to change the room,but next day when i met with Mr. dev ,he adjusted my amount and also provided nice , neat and clean room.He cooperated and provided me the local transport information as well. Thanks Mr.Dev for a good hospitality !

I would give this stay a 4.5 total. As female travellers, my fellow traveller and I were satisfied with the safety and room provided. The size of the room was good, the staff was polite and sometimes got a little backed up. Check in and check out process was quick and perfect.
