Vivanta Surajkund

We were 3 people staying in Vivanta Surajkund for 1 night. Checkin process was slow as there were massive checkins happening. So we had to wait 45 minutes even when we came at 2:15. ||Coming to food, breakfast and Dinner buffet was fine, could have been better but no complaints. Rooms were clean and spacious. But considering we booked for 3 adults, we had to keep on calling front desk to arrange extra towels, cups, bottles which could have been taken care of well in advance considering there will be 3 people staying in the room. So it was a bit of hassle. ||Paranda Restaurant situated in the hotel is absolutely beautiful and the food quality is 10/10. Staff is nice and courteous. Chef Manish is amazing and we had our life's best Kadhai Paneer there. ||Service could have been better in terms of acting on the request over call, we went to Pottery but the person inside was completely ignoring the customers which was weird and rude.||Housekeeping was good and Mr Manoj assembled our third bed nicely. We liked Manoj's services. ||Overall it was a good experience considering the property is old.

Really enjoyed the stay at Vivanta. Especially the large smart tv, with the option of using my own netflix account was great.|The Gym had some very professional instructors who helped. Only thing i noticed is the closing does not match the sign in the gym. They close at 20:00||Also great food - both the buffet and ala carte.

The overall experience was in line with the expectations from the brand. Food was very tasty and hygienic. Rooms were great, clean and tidy and well equipped. The biggest takeaway is pet policy. One of the few luxury hotels in NCR that permit dogs (irrespective of the size) although with an additional charge. Pottery lessons and billiards were also good. A great weekend getaway for family and pets.

This was my second stay at the property, and this time I brought my brother to celebrate his anniversary. Unfortunately, the experience was not as pleasant as my previous visit. Despite booking a month in advance, we were given rooms in completely opposite directions, and one of the rooms had a very foul smell. After raising the issue, we were reassigned rooms on a different floor.||Additionally, the room decoration and cake that were promised during booking were not provided, and no one seemed to be aware of the arrangement. Although the room was eventually decorated upon request, there was no cake available when we arrived for the buffet, which was quite embarrassing since it had been confirmed during check-in. Thankfully, Mr. Sube stepped in and managed to get a cake for us, saving the night. I am deeply grateful to him for his assistance.||The buffet itself was very limited, with only one snack option for vegetarians and no non-vegetarian salad options. The menu did not seem well thought out.||Overall, it was not a very pleasant stay.

Though we had a few hiccups during check in when we were given a room which had a peculiar smell and had to wait for an hour at 6 PM to get another room, the overall stay was comfortable and relaxing. The restaurant staff provided excellent service!

We had to wait for checkin even after reaching hotel at 2 30 p.m and had to wait till 3 30 p.m to get a room ,had a lunch included in the package but could have buffet lunch(as was accompanied by small pet and pet was not allowed in restaurant), forced to opt for in room dining after was allotted a room. The FO associate at check out Mr.Arjun said we will have to pay for the lunch charges through ird and he cannot help me out even we could not have lunch due to non availability of room at the scheduled check in time. Further was unable to book the members rate which included 25% discount on FNB and spa, can share the screenshot but was not able to book through online as the site and app was not working. Had to reach out to hotel reservations multiple time on 15th November 24 and they assured me that they will give me same rate but discount was not given or updated by reservation. Sorry but can't visit this property again or recommend anyone.

We went for a stay for a day to relax. We liked the room and the service. The facilities were good but need maintenance. TT bats, snooker board, locks in bathrooms of spa etc were bad or not working. Food was bad. We had dinner buffet and breakfast buffet. Both were disappointing. There were adequate number of dishes but only few were good.

We visited the place for our anniversary and found it a bit pricey considering the room, view and food. Half of the hotel was under renovation, so we couldn't explore the entire property. I've stayed at other 5-star hotels in Gurgaon that offered better value for money. That said, they did give us a complimentary cake, which was a nice touch. The in-house activities, like pottery, the kids' play area, and the swimming pool, were excellent. However, the food is quite expensive, and the buffet felt overpriced with limited options for the cost (₹1750 + taxes).
