Hotel Emerald Valley

When I first reached there… the property seems very ordinary. But as soon I entered the room, experienced the staff hospitality, it made my decision of staying to there as one of the BEST!! Mr. Kapil is excellent host, always move up the step up to delight their customer experience. Last but not the least, FOOD is top notch!!

It was awesome Stay in the hotel, rooms and washroom are ultra spacious, view from balcony was breath taking. Staff are quite cooperative and proactive. We were late reaching hotel, they called us and checked our whereabouts. We were with family including kids and mother..they took care everything picture perfect. Special mention to their supervisor Mr Kapil such a gem person. I highly recommend the hotel if you are looking for peaceful stay and pocket friendly too.

Do not stay at this property. Firstly the access road is the most rugged road. Suspensions and break pads of my car got damaged while reaching to this place. The entire road is broken and is full with big stones. One of the stones hit the oil tank of my car and it burst and the first thing we had to do was to rush to a garage. ||||The entire hotel looked to be under construction. No proper parking was there. There were iron rods poking out from everywhere in the building. Rooms and toilets were not clean. No toiletries were there in the washroom except for one thin bar of soap. Stairs did not have grills, not safe for children. One of the stair case looked to be only half constructed. Reception is very small and few rooms open in the reception itself. Any guest coming at the reception will have an easy view into your room. Staff is rowdy. When we reached, three men in baggy shirts and shorts with beard grown up and unkempt hair were sitting at the reception with their bare and hairy legs up on the sofas. There was nobody at the reception table. ||||The place did not feel safe at all especially with family. It is not that such kind of hotels are not there in chail. Hotels worst than this our available, but at this cost, such kind of condition is not expected. Its utter waste of money. || If you are looking for a decent hotel for family, this is definitely not the one. ||Not recommended at all.

I have stayed in this hotel. I don’t have word to express about its valley view . It was quiet peaceful and romantic view . Recommend for Meditation lover. And hotel budget was very friendly. Staff was too nice and helpful.

The hotel is new. The approach road is still under construction however the hotel staff is really good. We stayed for two nights. Reached hotel at night and the receptionist was in constant touch with us in order to check our arrival. The food is good and prepapred fresh. Vaery nice place to relax and enjoy the calmess. Chicken curry is must have. Chinese menu is also good. One can order as much for breakfast if the rate is including breakfast. You can go ala carte as well.

I had booked a family suite for stay with my parents and wife at the hotel. Had a horrible experience and decided to leave the hotel within half an hour of arrival. The rooms were dirty and the management had not bothered to make the most basic necessary arrangements before arrival of the guests. I, thereafter, asked the caretaker to have the bathrooms cleaned, linen changed, replace dirty crockery in the room and have the dish TV charged amongst other things. The response however was very poor and I had to call the person 3-4 times to get him moving. Seeing the poor state of affairs at the hotel, I called up the owner, Mr Kapil, who to my surprise, was as disinterested as his staff and instead replied "Sir, yaahan to aisa hi hai, agar aapko theek nahin laga to aap kahin aur dekh lijiye". I was surprised at the most unprofessional behaviour of the entire management of the Hotel and decided to leave immediately. I asked for refund of the amt I had paid, which took forever and a No of calls to finally fructify (They had charged Rs 7400 for the room!). Finally, when I was leaving the hotel, the staff didn't bother to apologize or even help us with the luggage! At 7 pm, I went looking around for an alternate place to stay which I luckily found at Village In Resort. I am posting a few photographs for all to see and would not recommend anyone to stay at Hotel Emerald Valley.

I have recently been to Chail and stayed here for 2 nights with family. This hotel's a nice decent place. Rooms have good view of the hills and valley. Family suits are also available. Courteous staffs and the manager's hospitality is worth mentioning. Hot water, free WiFi, parking space are adequately available. Recommended that travel with your vehicle (owned or rented, whatever) as public commute is absent in this place though taxis are available from Kandaghat (32 kms) or Main Chail (5.5 kms) to reach there. The manager can help you with taxi driver contacts if you want to travel locally. Excellent place for those who are seeking solitude holidaying in the lap of nature for stags/couples/ family or honeymooners etc. One thing I felt they should work on is the variety, taste and presentibility of food and typically introduce varieties on the breakfast menu. "Definitely worth a stay".
