Lovely views outside the hotel. The hotel is very far far far, like in a big hole. If you want to walk till a shop, there's a lot. It was very cold there even in summer, but we got heater upon request (paid additionally). Our rooms were basic. We ordered a birthday cake and it was delivered to the hotel. The staff helped in decorating the room. Food was nice both dinner and breakfast. We spent one night there. Biggest drawback: My aunty paid for the additional food that we ate upon check-out, she handed over Rs 1500 to the guy and then went to pick up our luggage. After a while, the guy said that my aunty gave only 500, and Rs 1000 is pending. She realised that she paid twice only when we left in our car. There was a CCTV camera in the reception, so we complained with the owner and the owner said he will verify it, but 3 months later, we did not hear anything. We do not want a refund, we just want the reception guy not to repeat the same with other guests. Apart from this bad experience, location wise the hotel is perfect for honeymoon couples.

A beautiful resort surrounded by green hills, the scenic beauty will charm you. All the rooms have a spacious balcony and a big glass window from where you can enjoy the scenery. There are even multiple cottages to stay in the middle of the garden. Rooms are well equipped, bathroms are cleaned and 24hours of hot water facility is also available. Reception area is also very nice. Kids can enjoy in the garden area.

Stayed in cottage no. 3. Liked the place, lovely view and very peaceful. There are a variety of roses growing adding to its beauty. The rooms are nice but need maintenance and upholstery badly needs to be changed. They are dirty and shapeless. Dining chair cushions are so bad that you can't sit on them comfortably.

We booked 3 tents and had an awesome experience, we were 3 couples along a 2 year old baby. Tents are very spacious just like a normal room from inside and were very safe. Hotel staff was courteous and helpful, specially Anil (Manager). Its just 5 mins drive from main market and has beautiful view. We took a barbeque along with us and enjoyed it next to our tents with awesome view. |Few locals direct to go for trekking for a Zoo. Please ignore them, there is No Zoo. It is a breeding centre and there were no animals. We visited there, also entry is not allowed to the breeding centre. Place is good for a 2 nights kind of break right in the lap of nature.

Very good place, amazing experience rooms and bathroom very neat clean. Blankets were also clean. Hot water available all time. Rooms has very nice balcony view of mountain with sunset view. Private parking available. owner is very helpful and kind.

I booked this resort for a night stay for me and my family. First of all, it took us 20 min to find this resort is hidden behind some under construction building. After reaching there, we were informed that one of their guest has decided to overstay and they could not provide us the room. This is unprofessional as they denied us the room that we booked and offered us lower category rooms (very pathetic small rooms with steel roof). And they wanted us to cooperate with them and do adjustment with that lower category room. I clearly mentioned to the owner that I would be leaving a review for this unprofessional behavior. He (RG Thakur) went furious and started misbehaving with us. We left the property and luckily got a room in nearby resort. Don't even think about staying in this resort with such horrible people. Chail is a lovely place and this resort (and staff) doesn't do any justice to this hill station. This resort is just stairs and room. No valley view balcony or garden. Recommend you to please avoid this resort.

The only good thing in the resort was well behaved staff. The food was atrocious . The cook untrained. Raw material for various dishes in menu not available hence no choice of food. A boiled egg was charged Rs 30/- a piece. They are cheating the government by not giving any bill. There is no check in check out register maintained to avoid paying taxes to the government. Seems to a place not meant for respectable people. My advise do not repeat not stay in this resort and avoid this place. Colonel R P Varma.
