NillHotel Alt Life Dharamkot – The Pulse of Dharamkot Life! If you’re heading to Dharamkot and want to truly experience the vibe of the place, Hotel Alt Life Dharamkot is where it’s all happening. This place isn’t just a stay – it’s a community, a chill zone, and a hub for travelers who want comfort with a splash of energy. The location is perfect – nestled among the best cafes and hangout spots in Dharamkot. Everything you need is just a short walk away, whether it’s a scenic trail, a great coffee, or a yoga class. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and beautifully designed to fit the mountain vibe while offering the comforts of a well-managed property. The rooms are well-kept, and a special mention to Abhinash from housekeeping, who takes care of everything with such attention to detail and always serves with a broad, genuine smile. He adds a warm, personal touch that really stands out. Hospitality here is top-notch, thanks in large part to Mr. Nanak, the manager. He’s approachable, kind, and always ready to help with anything you need – be it local recommendations, bookings, or just a friendly chat. And yes – the in-house restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is consistently delicious, whether you're starting your day with a fresh breakfast or winding down with a flavorful dinner. There’s something for every palate, and it’s all served in a relaxed, welcoming space. Whether you’re a solo backpacker, a digital nomad, or just someone looking for a great mountain escape, Alt Life Dharamkot is the place to be. Great people, great location, great energy. Can’t recommend it enough!

NillI have had bad experiences in the past as well but I have never taken time to write a review about it . But this time I am writing because this is just scam nothing else . Overpricing the room with the statements like premium services and all but in truth the service was very poor There was pungent smell in the blankets and to top that there were insects crawling in our bed in the middle of night. Only good thing was food which was served to us very late. Staff ignored when I complained about anything. I suggest everyone to look for some better alternatives rather than staying here. I couldn’t sleep whole night because of the above mentioned scenario.

NillThe location is the USP of this place. Food was also good and very delicious. Rooms are also spacious and comfortable. The only things that can be done is keeping the rooms and amenities maintained since the property is not new.

NillStayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. The property, although challenging to get to, is beautiful and worth the travel. The staff is polite and hardworking. Raj, especially, is very resourceful and always prompt to help. Was pleasantly surprised with his hospitality.

NillYumm CARROT CAKE! Alt Café in Dharamkot is a hidden gem tucked away in the hills — the perfect place to relax, recharge, and soak in nature. The ambiance is peaceful, with cozy seating and breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys. It’s a great spot to unwind with a book, laptop, or good company. The coffee is excellent, and their menu offers a refreshing mix of healthy, homemade meals and global favorites — everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor. The staff is friendly and welcoming, adding to the laid-back vibe that makes this place so special. Whether you're a digital nomad, solo traveler, or just passing through, Alt Café is a must-visit in Dharamkot for good food, great coffee, and unforgettable views. 🌿✨

NillHad a wonderful 1 week stay at Alt Life. The workers are very kind and hospitable. Rooms were well-furnished and room service kept the rooms consistently clean. The in-house cafe was also excellent and provided delicious food at reasonable prices. The location is great and is close to many of the major attractions in Dharamkot and Mcleodganj.

NillI have booked my stay in this hotel on June 13 through MMT. 1 hotel location is good but u have to take of ur car with uphill road which is totally narrow road’s, very steep and dangerous. New driver can’t go. 2 I paid 9000 approx for single night including breakfast. I thought there would be buffet in breakfast as it was showing online, but they provided limited Oder menu, they didn’t mention any where that it would be specific meal options, U can book other properties like fortune or lemon tree same cost approx with good brands. Infect many other brand properties. 3 staff is not friendly except martin he guided well but I spose it was his duty to explain how to reach the property as it was totally confusing. 4 property name was jk resort but they sale under the name of alt life luxe. 5 they served expired coke. 6 insect in bed I am myself a travel agent but I don’t recommend this property at all totally waste of money and ur good time. I was in rush and reached late night so I have to book it.
