stayed during diwali week. overall very good property with extended ground on back side with huge parking for a hill station. food was good and not priced too high like in the market. location is best everything in the room worked well, the bathroom are big and everything works well. the next door hotel club house has 2 rooms 1 for billiards & snooker and one for table tennis would recommend this hotel for anyone specially who drive and come.

The location for this HPTDC hotel is amazing, good and spacious rooms with clean and tidy toilets. Lot of space to move around the property. The food quality is bad and not advisable along with value not worth of penny spend on that. Service is really poor at restaurant. Overall the stay would be a good experience making sure you eat outside at either Black Magic or Mclio

The state government property is in a very good location. The rooms are big, clean, and well-maintained. However, more attention is needed for basic facilities like electric kettles, refrigerators, and water dispensers. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is ample space for parking and a big garden. Some properties being constructed just opposite to the hotel in the future might obstruct the views, and HPTDC should think about this.

The location of the hotel is awesome but very difficult to reach by car, The way to the hotel is very narrow and confusing, do not rely on maps.. talk to the hotel and they will guide you properly. The property is nicely maintained,and the size of the room is small. Food was good and the service is just awesome they are just a call away and dedicated to make your stay and dining experience awesome 👍

I stayed at Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation's (HPTDC) Hotel Bhagsu in Dharamshala back in 2018. Located near the residence of His Holiness, The Dalai Lama, However, my stay was unfortunately marred by several issues with cleanliness. Upon checking in, I found that the room had not been properly cleaned. There was dust and sand on the bedsheets, making them coarse and uncomfortable to sleep on. The floor was also dirty, which was quite surprising and disappointing given the hotel's reputation and scenic location. It's sad to think that such a beautiful place could be overshadowed by poor housekeeping. While the surroundings and the hotel's exterior were stunning, the lack of cleanliness in my room made my stay less enjoyable. In hindsight, I wish I had addressed this issue with the management at the time. I hope that since my stay, the hotel has improved its housekeeping standards. Hotel Bhagsu has great potential given its prime location and beautiful surroundings, but attention to cleanliness is crucial to provide a better experience for guest

HPTDC Bhagau ,situated at a very good location,walking distance from the market.The rooms are spacious, clean,basic toiletry in bathroom with geyser and clean linens. You will not get a kettle in the room and they don't provide a buffet breakfast. So no complimentary breakfast. But the service is awesome, the employees are kind and soft spoken. Specially Mr. Manoj from the kitchen department serving us. He is ready to serve in every smiling face all the time. Food quality is very good and the taste is also very good, I find you will not get that heavy gravy kind of food. It's simple and nicely cooked. Highly recommended HPTDC properties if you are in Himachal Pradesh.
